Mr.Burns is an amazing instructor and has an awesome team! Kyle Burns is my brother and we grew up doing taekwondo together at the old studio. He has always loved the practice and wanted to be there learning more- it was a natural fit for him to be where he is with his studio as owner and instructor! His practice holds so many families, a range of ages and kids that grow up there. Check out the new studio on Great Neck!
I trained with Mr. Bburns as a student. With his help I was able to advance to instructor Trainee. He has a strong lineage from the ATA and Krav. I highly recommend him for your consideration in martial arts training.
We have 2 grandsons who attended Mr. Burns Academy. One from age 3 to 8 when he obtained his 1st degree Black Belt. Without doubt one of the best investments we have made in their future. The self confidence and character building have paid major dividends in the successful young men they have become.
Fantastic martial arts program. Instructor Kyle Burns is a former student of the academy now turned instructor and owner. He is great with kids of all ages, teaches them not only martial arts, but also important life skills such as integrity, self control, perseverance and honor. Highly recommend this over any other martial arts place in VB. Its also a great workout to stay in shape!
Kyle Burns is an excellent instructor at GNMAA, as are all his staff. He truly has a gift with teaching and engaging children. They offer great programs for all ages! I have taken private lessons for self defense. I disclosed a previous shoulder injury when I started, and Mr. Burns was able to work around that, giving me key instructions on how to keep that shoulder from being vulnerable, and still be able to physically defend myself in any situation. I appreciate the knowledge and experience that comes with team at GNMAA. My kids have been in their summer camps and school year classes too. This has been the one extracurricular activity that they have committed to and stayed interested in, and I credit the staff for this!
