I cannot say enough amazing things about Great Neck Vet and their Mobile Unit. My 12-year-old dog, Gabby, is getting older and struggles with jumping in and out of our SUV, so I scheduled an appointment for the Mobile Unit to come to our home. They completed her visit, updated her shots, took blood, and even brought their scale into our house. Julie gave her plenty of love and treats to keep her comfortable; Gabby just thought they were there to play! I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of quality veterinary care.
Everyone is always so nice and helpful from the front desk throughout the visit. The doctors are so kind and knowledgeable and always talk through any concerns. I have a very reactive dog and the entire staff takes extra care making sure her needs are met. I used to live up the street and now travel over 30 mins to stay with this practice because I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I know my dog is in great hands and I absolutely appreciate all that you guys do for me and my fur baby!
I love this clinic, they always treat my English Bulldog Dani like she is their own baby. Everyone there is extremely helpful and kind and sweet and patient. They are super flexible and able to meet all of your needs. I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Perry today and the rest of the staff. Dr. Perry was very patient excited, sweet understanding and explained everything perfectly. Several of the girls were able to even trim her nails without my Dani going crazy, which is a miracle in itself. If you want to meet somebody who is excited about her career, very personable, and eager to help make sure to request Dr. Perry! They are all amazing there. I can’t imagine going to any other veterinary clinic in Virginia Beach!
This is a great practice, they’ve always shown compassion in some of the hardest moments. Recently, my dog Zoey got into my chocolate stash AND my edibles. She consumed a large amount of chocolate and a large dose of thc. I came home from work and she was laying in her pile of chocolate puke, pretty unresponsive. I noticed a large pile of chocolate by the cabinet where I keep my candy for late night sweet tooth cravings. I immediately picked my 65 lb dog up (she used to weigh around 100 lbs- but due to the help of this clinic we were able come up with a diet for her and it’s worked) and carried her to the car. Once I got to the vet, I came in and said that I needed help that she was high and a LOT of chocolate, I turned around and there were SEVERAL nurses outside ready to get my dog to safety. I received no judgement from any of the staff in regards to my dog getting into stuff that she shouldn’t, or my personal lifestyle choices. They began doing what needed to be done, they came to tell me the quote, I told them I can do it it’s just going to take me a minute and I’ll need to pay from multiple sources. They continued to work on her regardless of the question of my payment. Due to the vets actions that night my dog was able to make it and live another day.
I'm so grateful for the great care your Techs took of my dog. I know he is a high energy, 100# Labrador who doesn't really enjoy nail trims, but their tenacity and patience with him was amazing. Kudos to your team. They are the best!
