Just changed to Habitat Veterinary Hospital in SE Boise. Loved the experience for both my cat and myself! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk, techs, and DVMs. My cat was calm during the entire experience- even the shots weren’t much! So glad I made the change! I know my fur baby is in good hands!
Habitat Veterinary is simply the best. I drive an hour to take our pets there because they are compassionate and care about my pets. Their compassion when our cat died was really comforting and we so appreciated it. They worked with us financially as well. They have always helped our pets and thoroughly investigate whatever the problem is. We love the vets at Habitat!
Habitat Veterinary Hospital has been an absolute gift to me and my animals over the years. Every single interaction has been rooted in genuine compassion, patience, and respect for my pets. They take the time to talk through options, explain what’s happening, and meet you exactly where you are, whether it’s routine care or a moment of panic during an emergency. They have cared for my dogs, cats, and birds, and their depth of knowledge across species is truly remarkable. From established, long-term care to urgent situations, I have always felt supported and never rushed. I am especially grateful for Rachel, one of their incredible vet techs, who has gone above and beyond for every single one of my pets. Her kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to meet my animals’ unique needs (especially going out of her way to comfort my dog who struggles with being kenneled) has meant more than I can adequately put into words. Her care is thoughtful, intuitive, and deeply compassionate. Dr. Zehr has been wonderful to work with. She's consistently kind, knowledgeable, and approachable. She makes even difficult conversations feel manageable and ensures you always feel like a partner in your pet’s care. And Dr. Lee has helped us problem-solve so many strange and complex issues over the years, particularly with my birds. Her expertise, curiosity, and persistence have made an enormous difference, and I’m endlessly grateful for her dedication. I cannot recommend them highly enough and feel incredibly lucky to have such an exceptional team caring for my animals.
This practice is simply the best! I have a very feisty cat. The staff knows just how to treat her and takes their time for her to calm her down before her shots. Everyone is so kind and helpful. They sell the very best food at reasonable prices. I would never consider going anywhere else!
I love Habitat Veterinary Hospital. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the vets and techs seem to genuinely enjoy my pets and take good care of them. They are great about explaining procedures and reviewing costs so you know in advance how much something will cost. We all think our pets are wonderful and having people listen to our stories and agree with us that our pet is clearly the smartest, funniest, most handsome in the world is great 😊
