Best barbershop in Chicago. Have been going here for over 3 yrs, never had a bad haircut. I think I've had my hair cut by everyone there at one point or another and they're all good, so you can't make a wrong choice. At some point I was more consistent with Will and have stuck with him for the majority of appts now. Recently moved up to WI and find myself trying to coordinate days I'm in town with days they're open.
One of the best and most professional barbers in Chicago! I’ve been there twice for a haircut and beard trim, and they did an amazing job both times. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.
Only used an electric razor on my curly hair. He was fairly friendly and the price wasn’t too bad, but I can’t believe this place has five stars. I have never had a haircut and left more disappointed. I thought he was just trimming the sides with the razor only to realize this was all the effort he was willing to put into my haircut. Clearly doesn’t know how to work with my sort of hair and now I just have a ring of barely touched hair on top of my head. Looks awful and will be wearing hats for the next few weeks.
Since moving to West Town- I’ve come across a lot of new places and people! I can’t say anything but positive stuff about Handcrafted Barbers! I see Will there and he’s simply amazing. Attention to detail and he takes his time cutting my hair. I’m so happy I found a barbershop/ barber who’s phenomenal and friendly! I highly recommend both Will and HCB! Nothing but 5 STARS!
Have been going here since i moved to the area over 11 years ago. These guys are the best and will treat you as if you have been coming in for years. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking an old school barber feel. Depending on timing of appointment I have been seeing either Doug or Will who, at this point don't need to much direction from me. All of the guys in the shop are super friendly and will provide you the best experience and cut. Again, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fresh cut. Just an FYI the shop is cash only and you need to book through their online portal which is very easy.
