I’ve only used Doug here and know as I observed , that any barber here is top notch. A hair (no pun) pricier but well worth it for a great cut. Thanks Doug ! Wouldn’t go any place else. He went out of his way to offer support too. I never met him until he cut my hair. Un biased opinion.
I’ve been going to Handsome fellows for my last few haircuts and let me say that it is the most professional and personable experience I’ve ever had. I personally see Doug to do all of my haircuts/beard trims and styling, and he knocks it out of the park. Doug is precise, polite and super easy to talk to. He takes his time and makes sure that you get exactly what you’re looking for when you walk in. Couldn’t recommend the Handsome Fellows in St Matthews more, and go see Doug!
My 12 year old son was lucky enough to have his hair cut by Doug. He wasn’t sure what he wanted but Doug was incredible, asking questions to figure out what would be best. Doug took his time, engaged in conversation with my son and made the entire experience top quality.
Booked with jt today and Never had such a bad haircut. I come here a lot and ask and get the same thing everytime. The cut was completely un even I told him DO NOT take anything off the top just fade the sides into the top and he proceeded too take a number 2 guard into the top of my head I showed him several pictures of me after getting my haircut there and he said cool I got you and then proceeded too give me the same haircut he has. When I confronted him he proceeded too talk too me like I was stupid and didn’t know what I was talking about I had too have my other barber mike that I usually go too come in the middle of the haircut and try too fix it even he said that he went way too far up with the guard on my head even the front desk person looked at me crazy when I said look at my head and how uneven not is. I made him give me a refund I will never book with him again and don’t suggest anyone should book with JT unless you want the same haircut he has. On top of all that he was the most awkward barber I’ve ever had didn’t say a word about anything made me feel uncomfortable so uncomfortable that he looked at me and was like “are you good bro” I felt rushed he looked at his Apple Watch every five minutes. Book with Mike hes very welcoming gives suggestions and is a very nice guy
I love the Handsome Fellows Barber shops! So 4 years ago I decided to cut all my hair off and visited the Middletown location even though I didn't get an entire cut there I did appreciate the visit. Today I booked my son a visit with JT at the St Matthew's location. Not only is he super funny but did an amazing cut on my 5 year old. Couldn't have asked for better. I watched everyone in there and they were all really great at what they do. Book with anyone and enjoy the clean relaxed atmosphere (and good music) while you're there. 🌟
