We took our 9-month-old puppy there for daycare, and he had the best time ever! It was his first time around lots of dogs, so I was a little nervous about it, but the crew assured me they would introduce Calvin gently. I will definitely bring him more times! My puppy loves Mia, she was very sweet to him and it's clear she loves working with dogs. The other coworker (I forgot his name) was super nice and answered my questions about the other dogs that were separated for a few minutes to help in the process of introducing Calvin's to the group. They also have cameras, so it's very convenient to be able to watch whenever you feel like.
My husband I have never boarded any of our dogs. I was very nervous about boarding our two German Shepherds for a week at Thanksgiving. There was no need for me to worry. The staff was very attentive and loving to our dogs. I kept watch throughout the week via the web cam. Will I use Happy Hounds again? Absolutely! Would I recommend Happy Hounds to other pet owners? Definitely!! My thanks to the staff at Happy Hounds Dog Resort.
I bring my pup Mocha 1x a week. I can really appreciate the fact that I don’t have to schedule a day because it works better with my unpredictable work schedule. I love how easy drop off is, the user-friendly webcams, and the staff that are super friendly. The front desk clerk, also knows and greets my pup and are so excited to see her without me saying her name. I love that! It’s personal and I feel like Mocha is adored as much as we do here at home. I absolutely love this place. My super energized pup often comes home tired and exercised. I always highly recommend the Shirley location. Thank you guys so much for all the care and love you give the pups but especially Mocha!
I brought my two dogs, Mousse and Loki, to Happy Hound Dog Resort for their very first daycare experience, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. Both of my pups have very different personalities—Mousse is more reserved while Loki is full of energy—so I was a little nervous about how they’d adjust. But the staff at Happy Hound made them feel completely at home right from the start. A special shoutout to Margaret, who clearly has a gift with animals. She took the time to get to know each of my dogs individually and made sure they felt safe and comfortable. By the end of the day, Mousse was relaxed and content, and Loki didn’t want to leave! The facility was clean, organized, and had a great setup for both play and rest. What really stood out was the personal attention and genuine care the staff gave. You can tell they truly love what they do. I highly recommend Happy Hound Dog Resort to any pet parent looking for a safe, friendly, and thoughtful place for their dogs. Mousse and Loki will definitely be back!
I recently boarded my two little dogs, Quincy and Milo, at the Shirley location and couldn’t be happier with my decision! Having access to the live web cam was such a comfort, I loved watching them play and interact with other dogs their size. It gave me so much peace of mind. My boys looked happy, which made me happy 😊 The customer service was absolutely top-notch 👌🏽 11/10 ⭐️
