Ched loved his stay at happy hounds haven! He had a trial night and settled so well before his week stay! He loved his time and we received daily photos and updates meaning we could relax and enjoy our holiday, knowing Ched was so settled and loving life on his holiday too! He will definitely be back, even tried to book a return visit at pick up! Thanks so much!
We’re so happy we found these amazing dog sitters for our pup Vinnie. At just 6 months old, leaving him for the first time was a big deal for us, but we couldn’t have asked for better care. Vinnie absolutely loves it there – from enjoying their garden to walks in the nearby parks (he’s a bit of an outdoor park connoisseur!). They really go the extra mile: offering a pet taxi service if you can’t drive, tailoring pick-up and drop-off times, and making sure each dog fits in well before socialising. Vinnie comes back happy, calm, and clearly loved – he never seems desperate to leave when we pick him up. It’s such a relief to know we have reliable sitters we can trust, and we’ll definitely be using them for all our future holidays. Thank you Rich and Paula for giving Vinnie a true home away from home!
Milly has settled quickly into Happy Hound Haven. There is a large garden for her to explore and also plenty of room inside where enrichment activities are available. We particularly like the fact that there are only three dogs at a time and thought is given each day to match the size/needs of the all the dogs. This has been great as Milly can be nervous of large dogs . We look forward to the photos sent each time Milly visits as we can see she is really settled. It really is a home from home for her and it is clear Richard and Paula love looking after all the dogs. Highly recommended.
Richard and Paula are wonderful dog sitters. My cocker spaniel, Lola, loves going to spend time with them. Lola gets excited and wagging tail as soon as she knows where she is going and having a great time with them two. Each time they have updates and photos which is very much appreciated. Very flexible and very good with communication, great service. Highly recommended.

Rich and Paula genuinely love dogs, and it shows in everything they do. Rhys absolutely loves going there—he literally runs to the door with excitement every time we drop him off! From the long countryside walks to the secure, dog-friendly garden, everything is set up to make dogs feel safe, happy, and right at home. It’s so reassuring to know that while we’re away, Rhys is not just being looked after but is having an amazing time. Finding a trustworthy home dog boarding service in Leeds can be difficult, but Happy Hound Haven is the perfect choice. Rich and Paula provide expert care, plenty of exercise, and a loving home-from-home environment. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and caring place for your dog, I can’t recommend them highly enough!
