We had Hassler Heating & Air replace the ductwork under our house, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to explain the work, were respectful of our home, and completed the job efficiently and cleanly. What stood out most was how organized and thoughtful the crew was — not an easy job, and they handled it with care and attention to detail. Communication was clear throughout the process, and everything went exactly as promised. We’re really happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Hassler Heating & Air to anyone needing duct work or HVAC services.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service from Hassler, I don't know how they are still in business or where these 5 star reviews are coming from. I hired them as part of the BayREN home energy score inspection program, as they were apparently an approved assessor on the BayREN website and eligible for the rebate program. The actual inspection scheduling and service was good. The onsite inspector was on time, provided what seemed like a thorough inspection, and was polite. However, we were completely ghosted afterward. They didn't send a report for over a month after the inspection occurred. I sent several emails and made several phone calls to inquire. Emails were forwarded to their Energy group who was completely unresponsive. Phone calls resulted in a receptionist promising me the Energy department would call me back, which never happened. Finally after requesting a refund they promised to give me a report by the end of the week. The report finally arrived 10 days later (late again), and was INCOMPLETE. I'm still trying to get a full report and/or refund from them. They don't have their act together.
We inherited a furnace that was in need of a thorough review and maintenance. Hassler Heating came with a strong recommendation from a friend. Steve came out and set to work. About an hour later he had the unit functioning better than it ever has. He made a couple of recommendations and explained what we should look for going forward. The cost was reasonable and we plan to have Hassler get our furnace ready for every winter to come. On the way out he gave us a couple pointers on our tankless water heater…
It was freezing days and nights when our split system stopped reliably pumping warm air. Our 1st available maintenance date was months away. When the system performance deteriorated further, Hassler dispatched Technician Paul on the Saturday we called and he arrived to address the problem within 3 hours. Paul was personable, professional, and thorough during the service visit. He took the time necessary to investigate, identify, and remedy the problem so that we had heat in the house again on a very cold weekend. The price was more than reasonable for the time and expertise required to do the job.
Hassler was great about handling my heating problem particularly since I had no heat. John, the technician, evaluated the problem, got me an estimate and then got me scheduled quickly. He fixed the problem, replaced two parts and now my heater works better than ever. He was efficient and gave me great customer service. Great company all around.
