I went on a guided tour of the Chateau Laurier Hotel, and it was quite good. Our guide, Ms. Emily was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and made the experience a good one! The group size was small, and we were able to cover the expanse of the hotel in about 75 minutes. I would highly recommend this tour🙌🏽
A Chillingly Fun Night with Charlotte! We joined the Original Haunted Walk of Ottawa and had such a fantastic time! Our guide, Charlotte, was an incredible storyteller, calm, eerie, and captivating all at once. She began with chilling tales of old burial grounds before leading us through downtown Ottawa, pointing out haunted buildings and sharing fascinating stories of the paranormal. From creepy attic hauntings to spirits trapped “in between” because of their tragic endings, every stop gave us goosebumps and made us look at the city in a whole new way. It was the perfect mix of history, mystery, and spine-tingling fun. Highly recommend this tour, especially around halloween week.
Had an absolutely wonderful tour at the Beechwood Cemetery tour. Our tour guide Nart delivered the haunting stories with just the right mix of gravitas and charm. It's clear how much effort Haunted Walks puts into their research into the spooky side of history. It's also the only way you can see the beautiful cemetery grounds after dark, which is truly worthwhile.
Monica was an absolutely fantastic guide. She was an excellent story teller, was hospitable, and extremely witty. I saw her genuinely engage and connect with every single group on our tour which was very impressive. The pace was great, she made sure we were all safe navigating our route, and you could tell she really enjoyed her gig. Would love to take another tour with her! - See you at the dentist, Monica! 😊
First time taking the Original Haunted Walk tour. It did not disappoint. Monica was a fantastic guide! Great storyteller, perfect pace, and projected their voice so that the whole group could hear. Loved learning more about the city I now call home, some of it quite spine tingling! Looking forward to doing more of the tours and site events in the future.
