Purchased a Gaming PC from Hex last week, dealt with them a few times for laptops and decided to level up. Went for the banshee build however didn’t want the same case as I prefer bigger chunky cases. Not an issue supplied a case of the light base model and stuck the components into that one.
Don't recommend them at any job, customer service 0. We spend £ 210 for a repair and after 2 weeks the screen cracked by their fault, as been confirmed in few other places, and they refused to fix their mistake. Don't waste your money and time go elsewhere.
The team at Hex were amazing. I visited Hex to ask for a quote for an iPhone repair. After explaining exactly how they would approach the repair, they then made efforts to make the everything as cheap as they possibly could. After handing over my phone, they had it fully repaired and looking like new in under three hours. Highly recommend.
Totally agree with Ashok’s previous 1 star review. My Son brought in his laptop, which was essential for his work. They said it would take anywhere between 1-10 days for diagnostics. After 14 days I had heard nothing back and I called them and they said they were having trouble with the shipping for the parts. I then waited another 10 days and apparently they still hadn’t shipped the parts. I went to collect the computer and asked them to give it back to me without it fixed as it was taking too long and they were making a complete mockery out of what they were supposed to be doing. 1 day after I took my computer back unfixed, they then emailed me saying the parts were ready. So I came in with the computer, they took another 5 days and then when they said it was ready to collect I asked them to turn it on to show me everything was working and turned out it wasn’t - they were going to make me pay just under £200 for something that wasn’t fixed had I not asked to see it turned on. After 2 months I have my computer back unfixed in the same state I took it in when it was faulty. Hex wasted 2 months of my time and are completely unreliable. The staff - everyone from the receptionist to the technicians that work there are completely incompetent in their ability to do their job. I would advise everyone: DO NOT GO TO HEX FOR ANYTHING!!
I had a very disappointing experience with HEX repair service for my Motorola phone. After my device was damaged from a fall, I submitted it for repair. Despite waiting for updates, I received none. I had to call them myself just to hear that the diagnosis was still "in progress". After 10 days, they informed me the motherboard was damaged and they were waiting for the quotations from suppliers. On 13th day, I was told their engineer was off and I would have to wait until Friday for a proper update. Frustrated by the delays and lack of communication, I asked to collect my phone back and pay the diagnosis fee so I could get it repaired elsewhere. When I arrived, they asked for id to confirm ownership- understandable. However, when they returned my phone, I noticed the side panel was broken, which wasn't the case when I handed it in. Upon questioning, the staff went back and forth, eventually offering a £9 discount on the diagnosis fee. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend trusting your mobile device with HEX- (To the owner: I don't have option to respond to your comment. hence adding my response in here. I have iterated that I am happy to pay you diagnosis fee and then asked what about this damage caused at your center. then you offered 9 pound discount. You can defend your position but not with outright lie You and I know the truth. You can feel free to delete my review)
