I’m really glad I found this cute bookstore in the area! They have a wide variety of books for kids, teens, and adults—and I even spotted some new releases on the shelves! The interior is beautifully and uniquely designed, making it such an inviting space. The staff are also very kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be back for my next book finds!
I love this charming bookstore for kids with quality books of all kinds. They even have famous author’s come for a talk and signing which has been fun for our family to do. My only complaint was that I bought a book for my child and when I asked if I could return or exchange if it was not the correct book and they said I could. When I came back the next week with my son to exchange it, they were out of all the books he wanted. I figured I would just get a refund since I had the receipt and the book was in perfect condition. The cashier said I could only do store credit. I don’t live close so we ended up buying some junky toys we didn’t need with the credit. It’s a beautiful store that is very well taken care of by people that clearly put a lot of love and care into organizing and buying for the store.
Hicklebee’s is largely focused on children’s books, but there are also sections for adult books and games/puzzles. It has a wonderful atmosphere and I love to stop in and browse the latest releases for adult books. Some shelves have recommendations from the staff and I’ve picked up some great books this way that I may not have chosen in my own. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When a book I was looking for was not in stock, a staff member offered to order it for me. I received a phone call from the store a few days later when my book was ready to pick up.
Very cozy book and gift shop. My kids love the variety of books sold here. They get ideas which books and toys are trending. We also love to shop for presents in this store - whether it’s for their aunt, our neighbor or a classmate, this is the place to be. They take care wrapping the gifts for us. That’s one less work for parents.
A great store for children’s books and toys!!! A great place to shop for gifts! They provide free gift wrapping service during this holiday season!!! Friendly staff!!! They have a small corner for babies/kids to play!!! My son loves here!!!
