Aaron is truly an excellent instructor. He balances learning physical techniques as well as mental discipline. Sure, you can learn martial arts at any studio but this one is spectacular due to the messages taught to the kids. The commitment to teaching the kids to have mental strength, discipline, and true confidence sets this studio apart in the best way. Nothing is given, everything is earned. This isn’t the closest studio to my home by a long shot but it is 100% worth the drive (and the awful shared parking lot lol) to have my boys learn these life lessons along side self defense. Thank you to all the amazing instructors at Hive 🩷💚🩵
My 4-year-old daughter has been attending karate classes for a while now, and I’m very happy with our choice. What I really appreciate is that, in addition to physical activity, a lot of attention is given to discipline and proper behavior. The children are taught respect, how to focus, and how to act in different situations — including how to respond when dealing with strangers. These are important life skills. Thank you to the coaches for their care, attention, and thoughtful approach to working with kids!
Great karate school for kids to learn Taekwondo with knowledgeable teacher Mr, Aaron & Mr, F. Kids of all ages will learn / discipline / focus body & mind / Self-Defense.
The staff here is really great. My 5 year old daughter has really enjoyed taking martial arts lessons and is improving quickly. They are very respectful with great communication and positivity. UPDATE: It's been a year now and Hive has continued to provide excellent instruction during an extremely difficult environment. My daughter is 100% remote and that still works out great. The staff is extremely professional, respectful and accommodating.
My Daughter has been learning karate through Hive for over 7 years. The instructors are awesome and so thoughtful. They really know how to individually motivate each kid. Their dedication to quality, both in teaching and in how much they care for and respect the art of karate, is inspiring. We couldn't imagine sending our daughter anywhere else!
