Horrible experience here. Pros: the 2 front desk ladies were pleasant and helpful (when they were there). Cons: No one ever seems to be working the front/phones. We called multiple days, different times, multiple times a day, and no one answered the phone. But worse than that was our "senior tax pro" Nadeese White. Please avoid her. She just has no idea what she's doing, easily distracted, inefficient with her time/work, and (unintentionally) rude (she would constantly make rude or inappropriate comments, but I don't think she meant it - she was pleasant enough). In short, we confirmed via another H&R tax pro that she entered our info wrong in multiple ways, did unnecessary forms, and would have gotten us not only $700 less in federal refund, but would have forced me to pay in to VA by a few grand. Detailed experience: We dropped our paperwork off on Sat, came back at our scheduled day/time 4 days later, she pulled us back almost 20min late, and she not only missed one of my W2s (which she accused me of never giving to her, yet she had it scanned with my other W2), she also didn't understand the state tax on my other W2 (military exemption). She kept asking us what we wanted to do, we didn't know what she was talking about, she couldn't explain herself bc she didn't even know, and she even looked at my husband and laughed saying I just wasn't getting it. We left after an hour of back and forth, having accomplished nothing, bc she said she'd work on it and we could return in a few days to sign. 4 days later, we return, she did literally none of the tax return, and continued to make unnecessary comments about her not knowing we had been put on her schedule, among other rude and prying comments (e.g. when we asked how long it'd take for her to finish everything so we could sign, she got annoyed and asked why we wanted to get out of there - what was so important we had to leave? We had a dinner reservation and expected to sign everything in 30min to an hr, not waste an hr so she could try finishing everything and then have us return another time to sign). We left, having been patient and courteous each time we met with her, and were lucky enough to have another H&R pro at another location correct everything.
Made filing my taxes quick and easy. They helped me file for my solar reimbursement and helped me set up my taxes for my home of record. They also gave me information on other things I can claim as write offs that I didn't know about. Overall great experience and the whole process only took an hour and a half with no stress.
The middle age black receptionist was rude, nasty and disrespectful. I will never get my taxes done here due to her behavior. I would love to give 5 stars because Abigail is amazing!
La única razón por la que di esta puntuación fue por Latisha, la mujer que hizo mis impuestos. El año pasado los hice con turbo tax y fue simplemente la peor experiencia que he tenido con mis impuestos. Cuando fui a H&R block con mi novio y vi lo sencillo que se lo hizo para él, volví de inmediato al día siguiente para que ella también me los hiciera a mí. Cualquier pregunta que tenía, ella las respondió por completo y fue muy informativa. Ella sería la única razón por la que volvería el próximo año. Necesitas promocionarla o darle un aumento, pero de cualquier manera, debería ser reconocida. Estoy muy confiado en mi devolución y en hacer mis impuestos de nuevo el próximo año con ella.
Mi esposa y yo hemos estado yendo a H&R Block durante 12 años y también hemos estado viendo a Laura Best durante 12 años. Nunca hemos tenido ningún problema y desde entonces hemos forjado una amistad de toda la vida con ella. Primero empezamos en la oficina de Norfolk, en Popular Hall Dr., hasta que Laura Best se mudó a la oficina de Chesapeake, en Sams Dr., a la que nos mudamos con ella para estar con ella. Ella nos conoce muy bien y nos cuida; y siempre nos sentimos seguros y tranquilos cada temporada de impuestos, sabiendo que todo está cubierto y que incluso nosotros recibimos buena atención. Nos da tranquilidad saber que todo está en orden y nunca hemos tenido ningún problema con el IRS. Ella es muy conocedora y tiene experiencia en todas las leyes fiscales y siempre puede responder a nuestras preguntas y prepararnos para el próximo año. Ella es muy amable, al igual que todos los que vemos trabajando en H&R Block. La oficina siempre está limpia y cada año nos recuerda que debemos hacer citas, y es muy flexible si necesitamos reprogramar. ¡Una firma de impuestos muy recomendable!
