H and R Block do not listen when completing your tax return and will take their fee from your account without your knowledge. These idiots forgot to take their fee from my tax return on the spot like I repeatedly asked them to…so 3 weeks later they over drafted my bank account over $200 dollars without warning by taking the money without notice. As far as I knew I had paid on the day for their service. Everyone I spoke to about it didn’t even apologise. Garbage customer service that has actually ended up costing me money in overdrawn fees and patience with their staff.
Not professional at all. I have contacted this accounting company to get a service. The office manager sent me the documents for me to sign so that they could start my tax return process. However, after i singed them out and sent it back to them, they haven’t got back to me. Although I called and emailed so many times, they didn’t get back to me
I’ve been going to HR block for two consecutive years now to get my sole tax returns completed. Last year was great, however this year I had Haseeb doing my return and it was an extremely impolite, unorganised and unprofessional experience. He was 20 minutes late, he did not apologise for this. Throughout my return he got multiple things wrong, calling me a veteran etc and was extremely unhelpful. My partner also recently just went to get his return done here and the lady was again 15 minutes late to his appointment and was again unhelpful. We will not be returning here and advise against anyone enquiring into appointing HR block as their accountants, very poor experience.
First time seeing an accountant, I went in with little to no knowledge on how to go about my tax return. I saw Maxine and she was very patient and took her time to answer any questions I had and explain everything to me. I wish I’d gone sooner but I will definitely be back next year. Thanks Maxine and H & R team :)
