They’re okay. I wouldn’t say my manicure was worth the $130 it cost me. They have a really nice choice of colours and are willing to do nail art but they’re a little bit inconsistent with the art. I wasn’t the happiest with this given the cost and I found the BIAB is very thick and looks chunky on my nails.
Loved my 1:1 training with Lena! The session was super hands-on, detailed and personalised. Lena created a comfortable learning environment where I could ask anything and practice until I felt confident. I learnt perfect prep, structure and application for BIAB. Couldn’t recommend Hunter Nails enough for private training. I left feeling confident, supported, and excited to offer these services to my clients. Highly recommend Hunter Nails for anyone wanting high-quality, personalised training!
I recently had a hard gel manicure and pedicure done by Lena for my wedding. I am not someone who usually gets their nails done, but whooee, am I a convert. I could stop looking at my fabulous fingers and toes! And the nails are till going strong three weeks later. My mum and sister had their nails done by Mia and they are similarly blown away with the quality of the work.
I recently attended 1:1 personalised training with Lena, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to upskill themselves. Lena’s care and attention to detail make her a remarkable educator. From the start she took time to understand my skill level and the areas I needed to gain more confidence in. Throughout the entire day she was coaching and encouraging me. I find I learn best with a hands on approach. Lena’s approach to teaching was to talk me through the process, show me her process while I made notes, she then guided me through her process, before allowing me to continue at my own pace (providing extra input or instruction when she felt I needed it). The Hunter Nails’ salon is a beautifully thought out space. It’s airy, clean and comfortable salon. My model had even commented on it. Even if you aren’t attending Hunter Nails to learn, it is somewhere I would feel comfortable recommending to others looking for a high quality professional service.
I completed my first nail course with Lena, and I can confidently say it gave me everything I needed to start working on clients with real skill and confidence. She has such a strong attention to detail and made sure I fully understood each technique before moving on. Her approach is clear, supportive, and so professional—it made the learning process smooth and enjoyable. I walked away from the training feeling capable and ready, and I’m so glad I chose myself and my staff to learn from her. Highly recommend to anyone starting out or wanting to sharpen their skills.
