I came in with a broken foot and sprained ankle. The M.A Chandler and Dr. Angeles were both extremely helpful! I was in and out with a splint and had a referral immediately to ortho. Only instacare I go to now!
I’ve been sick for over a month and they told me I was fine. I went to an actual doctor weeks later and turns out the issue was a lot worse. It felt like they were just trying to get me in and out, with no actual concern for my health. I don’t recommend going here if you want genuine care.
I went into the urgent care a few weeks ago. I have new insurance and was struggling to find an appointment for migraine meds. One office I spoke to suggested urgent care. I stopped in explained I needed migraine meds, a referral to a pcp and a health form signed off. She stated "we don't do any of those things here". I explained how I've been trying for weeks to figure it out and if that is the case Id like to hear that from a physician. She didn't know I worked in the industry and knew more than the average person. She agreed to stop gate keeping me after several minutes of awkward pushback. I offered her my insurance and she tells me the number wasn't right without even trying it. So I show her my screen shot and hey what do you know it worked. I was able to get 3 of the 4 things I needed to get done (including even just my insurance to be input into the system). I hesitated to write this cause it's not that I had a bad experience but it is apparent to me that people who are coming in for care are getting incorrect information and unnecessary push back from office staff. If she wasn't sure if they offered those services she could have said that. Instead of attempting to stop me from getting service all together. I got a little worked up with her cause I was so tired of hearing no while having valid insurance and needed assistance that their providers were able to supply. The gal definitely changed her tone after my insurance was accepted and after I was treated. It's hard enough to get medical care in life with all the rope and loops in the industry. Her gatekeeping was insensitive, incorrect and not called for at all. Imagine I had a real issue??? She attempts to turn me away cause.... why?? My dreadlocks? Sure hope not... Why does this person work here where people need care and she apparently isn't in the business of helping people and only stopping them. Color me confused. Hope she can get some proper training cause this is not a good look for the first interaction for patients..
I was in really bad shape when I went in yesterday. I had been sick for 3 days. The dr was so nice to help me get my nausea and vomiting under control and the nurses were SOOO nice and comforting.
I was so impressed with Intermountain Health. The facility was immaculately clean. The check-in process was seamless, and the attendant taking vitals was friendly and helpful with follow up information. The doctor was exceptional. He was professional, personable, and answered all of my concerns. I would highly recommend this particular healthcare facility to anyone in the area. Outstanding!
