I was charged $350.00 to file 3 1099s, the State wanted a photo of my id,1099s, and photo of letter they sent to me after I filed. Call Jackson Hewitt back for help and they said they would send that info in for me. Never happened, sent in new info to Jackson Hewitt and they lost it, they kept telling me they never received it, I use their app and it said it was successfully sent. After multiple phone calls with them, I finally gave up and dealt with the state on my own. The state was asking for things that Jackson Hewitt should have already had on file, our local office had closed because they said tax season was over, so I was having to talk to people over the phone. Very disappointed with their service.
We feel confident doing our taxes at Jackson- Hewitt. Our taxes were done by Meiya Luo. She is always professional, accurate & kind. She does an excellent job. Kari & John

Experience was horrible. Was quoted 2 different prices for tax preparedness... one upon my initial visit at@ $210.00 and when I came to finish up my taxes on the last day to send them in I was quoted over $600.00 and then I was told that if I didn't want to pay the $600.00, I can go elsewhere... this is a few hours before the deadline. I was given 3 different amounts of taxes owed and to be received. I was rushed out of the office because they overbooked themselves. It was just a very stressful and unpleasant experience. If I had to deal with the office on 103rd and Halsey again I would not go back to Jackson Hewitt. Luckily, I can go to different locations, work with different people and I'm not made to go to this location again.
Hemant Thaker is very thorough and hard working to get maximum refund for us. Will definitely come back to him for our taxes and recommend others too.in 2020 also he was great to work with us.
