I went in for an appraisal and to have my rings re-rhodium plated, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and immediately helped. Had the best experience at James Free shopping for and buying a wedding band. They had the most unique rings and best selection that I’ve found! Shannon was lovely and helped us all the way through the process. When we purchased, she even gave us a bag of chocolates and champagne to celebrate. Will definitely be coming back here for fine jewelry!

I cannot say enough positive things about James Free - they are the absolute best jeweler in Cincinnati and I would not trust anyone else with heirloom, custom or even every day pieces. They helped bring my custom design wedding band dreams to life and created a truly one of a kind piece for me. Their quality, customer service and expertise is unmatched! I have been coming to James Free for close to 10 years now. My experiences had been always been great with various staff members, except for one minor incident with certain individual who I shall not name. Since meeting Shannon, my experiences have been top notch and absolutely phenomenal. I was a little upset about that previously mentioned individual but had gift certificates so I returned on a different day - the day I met Shannon. Shannon thanked me for coming back after I told her about my previous encounter and she has more than made up for that minor negative experience. Shannon always goes out of her way to work with me, within my budget, to meet my requests without pressuring me to spend more. I upgraded my center stone from a square shaped quad setting to a beautiful cushion cut diamond. Shannon was patient and informative while trying multiple stones to ensure I loved what I picked and got the most for my money. My ring is absolutely stunning thanks to Shannon. I get compliments all the time. Shannon also helped me with getting an appraisal so that my ring was properly covered on insurance. I have purchased multiple pieces from Shannon since and I always leave excited and smiling. Whether it’s a simple $100 pair of hoop earrings, a custom piece or an expensive center stone, Shannon has always gone out of her way to make sure I am well taken care of! Not just me but also friends and family after I recommended to her. I know they are in good hands when I refer them to Shannon and she has never disappointed any of us. I cannot thank Shannon enough for all of her help through the years and look forward to many more to come!
