The food truck is located in a parking lot of a main road. The parking situation is a bit limited. There’s outdoor seating available. The staff were friendly. The menu offers a great variety; however, it lacks descriptions of the meals and some prices aren’t listed. I tried that lamb chops with pasta. The lamb chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The pasta portion was great, but the pasta sauce was heavy and bland. My biggest complaint was the pricing. The meal was $45 and definitely not worth it. I probably wouldn’t return here.
Rain or shine, this food truck delivers! I called ahead due to the stormy weather, and to my delight, they were open! From the moment I arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, providing top-tier customer service and answering all my questions. As a proud Mobilian, I told them their food had a high bar to clear—and wow, did they ever exceed it! My husband went with the Chicken Cajun Pasta, while I devoured the Lamb Chops & Cajun Pasta. We were both absolutely blown away! The food was delicious and truly far exceeded my high standards. I'm giving this food truck a 100/10! Pro-tip: Don't miss the dessert vendor! We grabbed the Strawberry Crumble Cake, and according to my husband, it was so good it "melted in his mouth."
Saw that there was a cool food truck area here so decided to check it out. Haven't had cajun food in a while and the lady operating the truck today showed me their social media, which showed plates loaded with protein, so I'm sold, I order a plate. In contrast to their social media photos, I get a thin-as-a-pancake slice of fish with 3 pieces of shrimp all for the great, great price of $32. They must have known they were skimping on the protein because the rest of plate was filled with mashed potatoes, food tasted good but if mashed potated is what I wanted I can get a similar sized amount of it at KFC for $5. Times must be tough for this spot as I saw the neighboring cuban sandwich truck open and then subsequently close during the duration of my meal since there were barely any customers here. Had to go to a McDonald's afterwards to buy a burger because I was still hungry after my meal, I won't be returning.
The best Cajun food ever. (Outside of New Orleans). Best lamb chops in life. I don’t even eat shrimp and I ate the shrimp. It’s seasoned to perfection. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had the Cajun pasta, blackened fish, and dirty rice as well. All amazing and worth every dollar.
If you live for real soul food, this is a MUST visit for you! We stopped by here by chance and came upon these amazing food trucks! We were worried they were closed, but they later explained that due to the heat, they normally keep the order window closed unless a customer walks up (honestly, in this Texas heat, you cant blame them). I was overwhelmed the moment we went to their Instagram to check out their plates, but after much debate, we made our choices. We placed our order, got the buzzer, and went back to our car to wait. They make the food to order and I'll be darned if it wasn't worth it. I'm a HUGE garlic lover (to the point that somd people will complain my tatziki sauce has too much garlic), and their Cajun pasta topped with chicken and blackened shrimp was PERFECT! And the OXTAILS!!! When I tell you that it was perfectly smoked (non of that liquid smoke flavoring) and oh so tender, I am not exaggerating! If you're ever in the area and want to experience the joys of Cajun food, you MUST stop by here. But a heads up, to the spice sensitive, if you have no tolerance for more than salt and pepper, this is not for you.
