Jay and his entire staff are extremely courteous and professional while offering quality products. They are most welcoming upon entering the store and never pressure you into purchasing anything. The quality and personal service is unparalleled. We have never been disappointed in any purchase or repair that Jay’s has provided.
I must have caught “Jay” on a bad day or something. I guess now that he’s gotten thousands of dollars from me, he could care less if I come back or not. I saw him be extremely nasty and rude to one of the employees in front of customers. Very unprofessional. I was in to get a quick and simple watch repair that they had done before on the same watch but he wouldn’t even try. He just whispered something to one of his sales associates and she walked right back over to me to say, “there’s just so much going on in the watch” that there wasn’t anything they could do. What does that even mean? I thought this was a jeweler? And the employee was super nice even when he was nasty to her. At least his employees are professional. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with what I experienced.
Honesty and dependability is what I found in my experiences with Jay’s! We don’t buy a lot of jewelry, but this is our go to place when we need something. I had a problem with a watch battery and it turns out that the battery was fine, but the watch needed to be cleaned inside for the battery to make better contact with the watch. Not only did they clean my watch and set the time but they did not charge me for this and I’m very pleased with that level of service. Thank you Jay’s!
The first thing that stood out to me was the friendliness of the staff, I will never do business anywhere if the staff is not hospitable. Jay's did beautiful work on a piece of jewelry that I needed repaired. They worked hard to get it fixed by a date we agreed upon, and finished a day earlier. I am very happy! I will definitely be back and will refer Jay's to family and friends.
LOVE this store! The staff is so personable, knowledgeable and professional with a great selection of products! Originally went into the store to have my rings checked and cleaned as I felt some of the prongs were loose. Roy greeted me as soon as I walked through the door and not only did he make me feel welcome, he listened to my concerns - you don't find that in most places! I have already received one of my rings back and I must say, it looks and shines exactly the way it did 16 years ago! In addition, I was looking for some new pieces for an upcoming event. Not only did Roy guide me and show me all sorts of options, Jessica came over to add some additional support and another perspective. Both of them were extremely patient and even excited to help put the ensemble together for me. When I returned to the store to pick up some items, Roy was helping another customer and Christina immediately came to work with me so I didn't have to wait. Her ideas and knowledge, along with Roy and Jessica's guidance and support, were over the top. I can't wait to be able to wear my "daily rings", but to feel like a million dollars in the future with the choices they helped me with. (Trust me, I'm not a fancy, big spender, but they all made me feel like I was the most important client they had that day!) Jay, congratulations on putting together such a wonderful team. I will definitely be back for normal cleaning services and for any future jewelry needs. You guys are the best!
