We contacted JRB to do a full exterior restoration on our West Side Victorian home in the summer of 2025. John was very detail orientated and genuinely cared about the quality of their work. John was excellent at communicating and was very open and helpful in suggesting and making final color choices. My husband and I are very happy with the end result and enjoy looking at our beautiful home everyday. We both agree that JRB was the best choice in restoring our old home. Thank you John and company!
John and the team at JRB did an amazing job on our historic home's exterior paint job. They painted the entire exterior of the house, all the details & trim, the wooden sashes, and repaired carpentry that failed over time with accurate replicas. The team was communicative, quality focused, well staffed, respectful, timely and we had proper project management on the job. Would highly recommend working with JRB!!
John and his team painted the exterior of my home in the Elmwood Village. They were thorough, detailed, clean, and friendly. John cares about the proper restoration of houses in the community and has skilled carpenters on staff. He and his foreman resolved all my questions/concerns quickly and effectively and were easy to work with. Highly recommend and would use him again.
We selected JRB Painting because John Bolla is a straightforward, hands-on professional. John sent a skilled painting crew who worked on our house for 2 weeks. They did a considerable amount of repair on our old cedar shake singles and the underlayment beneath them as well as other pieces of trim on our 100+ year old two-family home. They covered all four colors with two coats with very high levels of cutting in precision. John suggested some changes to the way we used the original trim colors that brought out the natural beauty and contracts in the colors. John is a responsive professional and improved the appearance of our house. We give JRB Painting our unconditional recommendation for other home owners looking for a fairly priced quality paint job.
We just had the pleasure of having our house painted by John Bolla and his team at JRB Painting and we were couldn’t be happier. John has a gift for painting Victorian houses with a precision and care that brings out sides of your home that you’ve never seen. The carpentry work that they did restored some beautiful woodwork that otherwise would have been lost to history. His crew skilled, professional, And courteous to the person. It was a pleasure to have them working on our house, and the result is amazing.
