Quite delicious and interesting ramen served in a minimalistic tiny open faced kitchen. Service was friendly and I was quickly attended with a brief explanation of their menu. I also watched their cooks breeze through service as orders came in. One minor detail, was the space was quite a small so there were a few manuvering issues when the restaurant did eventually get busy as the night went along. I arrived hungry and left quite full so I would say that I definitely will be going back
Came here for a lowkey dinner date with my partner on a Monday. It was a bit packed but the wait time to order and receive food wasn’t bad at all. The space itself is on the smaller side so it seems fuller than it was. All the service members were super helpful and friendly. They definitely added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was super good—epitome of richness and umami! We both got the tonkatsu bowl with chili oil (which I wish was a bit spicy since it was on the more mild side) and additives like an extra egg and extra chasu. Chasu melted in your mouth so it’s definitely worth a try. Overall super good only critique would be the atmosphere. It has an unfinished house framework look…not 100% sure if that’s the look they’re going for but I feel as though some paint or even just poster would liven the place up and make it a full 5 stars🙌
Had croquettes, bao, and ramen. Croquettes were good but different(crispy outside with semi creamy inside filling). Bao was excellent in my opinion, little spicy oil and hint of sweet was wonderful. Bun was fluffy and excellent. Ramen was ok( not bad). Personally likes the greens topping. Broth and noodle texture &doneness could be better.
We just ate here and it was really good! We had the macaroni salad, the beef dumplings, and the tonkotsu noodles, and everything was super tasty and full of flavor. The beer was great too. The staff was really nice and welcoming, and the place is super cute and cozy. We’ll definitely be back!
I can’t believe this place has been only open for 8 days and their restaurant runs like a tight ship, pun intended. This was the best Ramen Shop In all of San Antonio! The sides were absolutely amazing, had the crab croquettes with the yuzu tartar sauce, these were ridiculous and I don’t even like tartar sauce. Then had the macaroni salad, I couldn’t stop eating it. I had the tonkotsu ramen, it was silky and smooth and on point. I finished it off with the yuzu bosque cheesecake which one of their sister restaurants makes, simply heaven! I will definitely become a regular!
