Dr. Karhade is amazing! She is knowledgable, kind and has extensive knowledge and experience with cosmetic and medical dermatology. As a local dermatologist, I am familiar with many of the other dermatology practices in the Bay Area, but she is the only person I trust to treat my pigmented skin. Unlike other practices I have been to, she doesn't upsell you on products or procedures you don't need. Her recommendations and treatments work and she is an incredibly honest person as well. I would recommend her without hesitation to any person seeking a trusted dermatologist for their cosmetic or medical hair/skin/nail concerns.
Dr. Karhade is really wonderful. I came to see her for multiple issues. She was very patient and took the time to thoroughly explain to me my treatment options, the procedures, and after care for each concern I had. She performed the necessary treatments with care and her professionalism and positive and gentle demeanor put me at ease. Her kindness and knowledge in the field are exceptional. From the moment I walked into Dr. Karhade’s office, I felt completely cared for. She has a warmth and presence that immediately put me at ease, and she took the time to really listen—not just to what was happening on the surface, but to how it was affecting me overall. What stood out most was how she approached my treatment plan from every angle. It wasn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, she carefully considered all the different factors contributing to my concern and created a thoughtful, multi-layered approach that truly worked. Dr. Karhade is a truly exceptional dermatologist. She has given me hope in my journey of hair loss. What she says and prescribes actually works! Not only is she very knowledgeable with current research, but she is practical in her approach. She clearly outlined my treatment plan and goals helping me not to feel so overwhelmed. She most importantly patiently answers all of my questions and I have never felt rushed when speaking with her. She has always been prompt with her appointments. In addition, she has been treating and following my teenage son for a few skin conditions. She is always kind, patient, and professional when speaking and explaining things to him in a way that he can understand. When she performed a small in office procedure on him, she was able to put him at ease by walking him through what she was doing as it was happening. She also thoroughly explained what to expect after the procedure. Dr. Karhade and her office staff are very friendly, thoughtful, and always make us feel welcome. I absolutely without reservation recommend Dr. Karhade for your dermatologic care!
