We stopped by for a little taste of nostalgia, as we used to visit this spot back when it was the Tributary restaurant. We were delighted to find that Kingyo still carries the same charming vibe! The food was excellent and we especially enjoyed the Trinity Rivers Roll. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.
Exceptional ramen and takoyaki, quick service, and kind servers. No frills, plain and unassuming, but the prices were amazing for the quality level. $15 bowls of ramen that tastes this good is a rarity.
If you’re looking for your new go to sushi spot in Fort Worth, Kingyo is it! This place has the best food and people ever. Lee our server made us feel at home. She was so sweet and such an amazing server. The food is top tier! (See pictures below) and since it was my birthday they even gave us some delicious mochi ice cream. I can’t stress this enough, I have tried many sushi spots around Fort Worth and this one is by far the best! I highly recommend this place, come check it out and you will not be disappointed!
I have been to A LOT of sushi places and this is my new favorite. My first time here as Kingyo (I think this is the former Tributary Cafe). We were sat immediately. Our waitress was fantastic! And so was our food...we started with edamame and sashimi. We are also got poke ramen, creamy garlic with pork ramen and the Texas Farm (so good). We are already planning a trip back! The tuna, yellowtail and salmon in the various dishes was incredible!!!
I found about this location through TikTok so I was a little worried about it being packed or having long wait times. I went on a Wednesday evening and there was no wait. We were seated and how we first order was a little complicated. We came in and nobody was there to let us know if it was open seating or we had to wait to be seated. One of the employees kind of ushers us in and pointed to a table. We sat down and waited. The menu was pretty straightforward but I was a little confused at first on the differences between their combo A and their general combo. At the end I tried a few things. The shaggy dog spicy roll, the crunchy lovers, country boys and also the pork gyoza 🥟 Everything was amazing! The only thing I didn’t like was the beef low mein. Super salty. I couldn’t finish half of it. Honestly still 5 stars. That’s how good their sushi was.
