Incredible hibachi! I stopped in on a whim, honestly not expecting much. Do not let the exterior fool you. This place is wonderful. Staff is amazing. Food came out delicious and FAST!
Koumi Japanese Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service truly sets it apart. Our server, **Rona**, was amazing—personal, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made the entire experience feel special. I highly recommend Koumi to anyone looking for great Japanese cuisine paired with exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, and the owner/server was so patient and sweet. We were 5 adults and 4 kids. We ordered a lot. Sushi, thai, pho, hibachi(s) (bay scallops/shrimp/steak), eggrolls, etc. It all was so tasty!! We brought in our own cake for a bday but we forgot the candle. She didn’t have one either but she offered to dim the lights while we sang. Omg so sweet! A little bit of a hole in the wall essence but that’s okay bc the food and people who work there will keep us all coming back. This will be our new favorite takeout spot!
Top quality food, friendly service, more than generous portions, and good prices! Food came out quick and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Hibachi Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai! Will definitely be back!
