This place is worth a visit! On two modern, brightly lit floors you can see a beautiful collection of paintings from Canadian artists in many different styles. To me this gallery is more interesting than the Canadiana section of the National Gallery.
Do NOT use Koyman Galleries for framing. I brought paintings in to be framed in July 2025 and they said that the frames I wanted were out of stock but assured me that they would have the frames in and ready for pick up in October. Come October they said they would have the frames in and paintings framed and ready for pick up in November. In November, I phoned to ask if they were ready and they said no but that the paintings would framed and ready for pickup in December. In December, I once again phoned to see if they were now ready and was told once again that my paintings would not be framed and ready for pickup until January 2027. Additionally, when I phoned to see how things were progressing the woman answering the phone was extremely rude to me on the phone and did not even apologize. Completely unprofessional behaviour!
Large gallery with 2 floors of amazing Canadian art. Linda was very helpful. They do framing and free delivery to Toronto
Love love love this space. Eddie and Martha are beyond amazing. Canadian artists should be so lucky to have such an outstanding Gallery in the Nation's Capital. Cannot wait for our next piece!
My experience with Koyman Art galleries has been truly delightful. This gallery is beautiful and expansive with a tremendous beautiful collection of artwork that changes often, so there is always something new to see. Wonderful experience, Highly recommend this place!
