I've been going to Kyle for years and can't recommend him highly enough. He's got a fantastic one-chair shop where he works his magic. He's knowledgeable about all things hair, he's fun to talk to, and he's always got some interesting music or videos playing if you feel like avoiding small talk (though usually we get into some really great conversations). Pro-tip: I like to pass by the old and slow elevator and take the whimsical spiral stairs to the 2nd floor instead :)
Kyle is the best barber in SF, offering a combination of both exceptional skill and genuine personality. His haircuts are so precise and clean that it makes me question all prior haircuts I’ve had in my life. The most important aspect here is really his personality, as he creates a calm, kind, and uplifting environment for his clients. I truly enjoy my haircuts with Kyle because of the conversation! Each haircut and beard trim has been exceptional. At the end, I look in the mirror and am continually surprised by how good it looks. I’ve been a client for 9 months now and will remain a client for as long as I live in SF. I cannot recommend Kyle highly enough.

Visiting SF, decided needed a haircut, saw the good reviews and booked it. Kyle is extremely professional and checks with your as he cut the hair to make sure you're happy. Excellent work, right on point with what I wanted. If I'm in SF and need to look good, will definitely stop by again!
I had a great experience here and plan to return. I hadn't cut my hair in nearly a year and a half over the course of the pandemic and came in and Kyle cut my overgrown hair down to a reasonable length again. I'm happy with the result and also found Kyle very personable. Recommended.
