Increased prices a week before Christmas. When I called to ask why and maybe if it was a glitch on their website order form I was met with a rude employee that didn’t give me a clear reasoning as to why. After a bit of conversation trying to get some clarity, I was told it was because cost on their end increased (I placed an order on Dec 13 and it was one price, and when I went to place another order today Dec 19 it was an increased price). I understand prices go up but this particular situation feels icky and a tad bit unethical. I asked when i could order next year to avoid a up charge and was told “the date changes every year”. …Okay? I’ll be taking my(and now my extended families) business to Sams Bakery.
One of the last true Italian bakeries left in the city. This place is an absolute gem. Please don't buy your sweet goods at grocery stores even if they have a so called bakery. It's all commercial mass manufactured garbage. At La Bakeri everything is handmade and wholesome. If you've never been then you to get there like right now. Trust me. You will NOT be disappointed. Highly recommend.
This was my second time trying their pastries and I totally recommend them. Everything I’ve had so far strikes the perfect balance: not too sweet, just smooth and full of flavor. The service is always warm and welcoming, and the best part? They’re only 5 minutes from my place. A local gem!
Great little bakery with a nice selection of baked goods . All the treats we tried were delicious. They also had a selection of gluten-free options
Our favourite little bakery in the city. We got our wedding cake here!!! The staff/owner are so friendly and helpful. Everything tastes amazing and it's an absolute must stop if you are in the area.
