Got wedding dress done here in February, gave them over a month have it done. Showed up to an appointment and the store wasn’t even open. I did get my dress back until a 4 days BEFORE WEDDING extremely stressful and they would not answer phone and also staff does not communicate with each other. Multiple times I had to come in to tell a different person what I wanted and then schedule appointment that they might not be present for. On day of pick up they did not have the attached sleeves I had requested when I dropped off dress a MONTH prior, literally just wanted dress hemmed and added simple sleeves; nothing intricate no bead work/zippers. Dress also had marks on bottom from when they were fixing; had to pay for them to clean off. I bought the dress brand new, they also talked crap about how I wanted a clean dress to another bride during my fitting after I said,”I wanted my dress back the way I brought it in.” She did not say my name but the shop is tiny and I was sitting right there. Do NOT bring your wedding dress here or anything you need done on a specific timeline. Also with all that listed above you would think it would be cheaper but definitely was NOT!
Horrible! They had my wedding dress for a MONTH and NOTHING was done or altered. They claimed they “forgot” what needed to be done but the lady took notes the day of my fitting! And then I waited almost an hour the day of my appointment to try on the altered dress but apparently they didn’t know where my dress was! Do NOT go here if you are on a schedule.
I have been super nervous with mixed emotions about finding a dress for a date. So many stores, no dress that fit or liked. Finally found one but, it was a 14 and I needed a size 12. Too big At the waist, under the arms plus, I wanted more legs out. Highlighting my assets, but still Elegant. Lee’s alterations fix it for me. Practically change the look for the better. It’s been almost 8 years. I’ve been on the date. I left Lee’s cleaning and alteration establishment excited, on cloud nine. The service was good. Totally cost-effective. The turnaround time same day, was perfect. The best alteration job I’ve ever seen in all of my 59 years. When they say, voted the best tailors in North Texas, PLEASE believe them. Tomorrow, I’m going on my first date in years and I still have money in my pocket. Thank you so much for this motivation. I gave you a five star but, wish the ratings were higher. I had gone to lees as a bridesmaid and they did an amazing job on the bride and all of us so I decided to go back for my wedding dress. Marisol made my dream wedding dress fit absolutely perfect- she made sure to listen to exactly what I wanted and did every single thing! My dress has pearls and beads in the corset and she had to take many inches off but still took the time to make sure all the beading was straight and fit me perfect! I am beyond happy with my dress!
I just got my wedding dress altered here and I honestly have to say please choose somewhere else. I gave them my dress in January and needed bra cups, bustle, taken in 6 inches and sew belt on. I told them I needed my dress done before April so I could take my bridal pictures. When I called to go pick up my dress in April, Lee told me he was going to start working on my dress that day... THAT DAY!! When I went to try on the dress, they forgot the bra cups and it was still 2 inches too big so I had to return my dress to them and I gave them 1 week to fix it before the wedding and they waited until the day I needed the dress to work on it AGAIN!! I was really upset that they waited until the last minute to work on my dress, BUT the bustle and belt were great! My dress was still too big on my wedding day so it was falling down on me all night wish I had a better experience here Paid $400 for bustle, bra cups, take up length, sew belt on, take in sides by 7 inches. Not bad price.
