If you are looking for top notch martial arts training (TKD or other forms) for both children and adults, Legacy is your best bet in the Twin Cities. Legacy provides a great environment to progress in knowledge and ability. The teaching staff is fantastic. They are also very good with communication both in person and via other channels. They provide flexible programming to fit the needs of various participants and families. If you are looking to improve flexibility, strength, balance, discipline, respect, and/or self defense abilities I would highly recommend. This is also a great supplemental program for children who specialize in other sports. For example, TKD at Legacy helps our hockey player in numerous ways with his hockey performance.

When I first started I didn't know what to expect to be honest. But as time went on and I kept on coming to more and more classes, this place definitely exceeded my expectations. I didn't see it as another classroom to learn from, but a community where you feel at home and welcomed during your best and worst days.

I spent a lot of time researching places that I would think my kids would enjoy going to to the point my wife was losing patience with me, lol. I was looking for a place that I would be comfortable sending them to, that the instructors know what they were doing and a place that just wasn't in it for the money and being a complete sham. Legacy is the place. We couldn't be happier with Legacy and the lessons they teach. I hope they can offer a more diverse assortment of martial arts in the future. However, if you're looking to get your kids involved, even if you're a adult and want to learn, this is the place to go. Thank you for all that you give to the community and to our children.

I got my son involved with the little dragons, and he loves it! He convinced me to join the adults class to do it with him, and my only regret is not having done it sooner. It’s a great way to stay motivated and active as I rapidly approach my 40’s. The staff is exceptional. Could not recommend highly enough!

My son loves it here! The staff is absolutely wonderful. They care a lot about the kids and want to see them thrive and help them develop life skills (i.e confidence, respect, self control) in and outside of the class. Since joining the Legacy American Martial Arts family my son is doing better both at home and at school. His experience has been very impactful in just a short amount of time. All thanks to them! I highly recommend this place if you are considering signing up your kiddo(s). You won’t regret it!
