I HIGHLY recommend Lewis Accounting and Tax Service! As a new business owner and recently married couple we were concerned about getting our taxes right and that neither of us had experience with using tax preparation services. The team at Lewis was thorough and efficient. We learned a lot about our financial set up and how we can be better prepared for the future. We will be lifetime customers for sure!
My husband and I tried to do our taxes ourselves and went to Lewis and Accounting to help us fix our errors. The money they got us back from overpaying and helping us find tax breaks was well worth it! Definitely recommended for their expertise and professionalism.
I decided to try Lewis Accounting & Tax Service based on a couple of recommendations. I took the time to call and inquire about their rates to do our taxes before using their services. Speaking with the bookkeeper on the phone, I was given an estimate on the most I would spend to have my taxes done by them. Once the taxes were completed, I was shocked at the bill! I mentioned that I had been given an estimate and that the invoice was much higher than anticipated. After being told by Ameena Lewis that we were given a small discount on the bill, I was very surprised that she wasn’t going to honor what her bookkeeper had told me. She did say she would speak with the bookkeeper about giving me an estimate. Not only did I spend more than planned, I was disappointed that the price I was told was not honored, or even considered. This lack of professionalism will certainly deter me from using them again in the future. Note that someone from Lewis Accounting will probably reply to my review and/or refute it, I stand by my disappointment with the way my invoice was handled and the lack of professionalism received.
Lewis Accounting &Tax Service is by far the most reliable honest accounting service we have used. They are definitely unmatched and treat you with respect!! Showed great detail to my records and offered great advice and thorough follow-up. Definitely my now go to. Highly highly recommended.
We have been using Lewis Accounting for a couple years now and we are so happy with their services! They are very efficient and have wonderful customer experience! I dropped our taxes off one day and in a few short weeks during busy tax time they had everything ready for us! We will continue to use them for the years to come!
