Mr.Beck and Valerie were very helpful in my case. I am heavily pregnant and he understood that and took alot of stress off of me. Almost 1yr ago, I was headed home from an exhausting memorial day wknd. I dozed off at the wheel and ended up brushing against a construction barrier before going off the road. I stopped my car and was still shaken up, so I got back on the road and stopped at a 7/11 to grab some water, a small snack and use the bathroom. On the way back to my car I was stopped by officers and asked if I was driving alone and to identify my vehicle. They asked a series of questions, then they told me they received a call about someone driving in excess of 90mph and swerving all over the road. I told them that wasn't me. They asked about damage to my vehicle which happened when I dozed off at the wheel. At that moment I felt it didn't matter what I stated because the officers already decided that I was driving under the influence. They refused to allow me back into my vehicle and asked if they can do a sobriety test and if I had someone to drive my vehicle. I gave them permission to search my vehicle. I asked several times to call my husband and inform him what was happening. They refused to allow that while still asking if I had someone to drive me home. One officer kept fidgeting around his duty belt and weapon which made me nervous. The way the officers approached me made me more nervous. The fact that they wouldn't let me call my spouse but also refused to let me in my vehicle left me uneasy. I refused to answer anymore questions and the officer told me he was arresting me due to suspicion of DWI. I was taken in, the officers wrote a report and asked me to sign a paper. I refused to sign anything and decided I'll need an attorney for this case. I contacted Liberty Law, explained the entire story and was accepted as a client. When Mr. Beck received my case and footage of the event, he was eager to represent me. He knew the case was bogus and had enough ammunition to fight the case on my behalf. His assistant Valerie was constantly on point and kept me up abreast of all matters regarding the case. I experienced other legal issues while working with them to clear me from the DUI. The case continued to be pushed because to state did not provide all evidence. When it was finally time for trial after going through 3 DAs. The final DA reviewed the case and realized they had no valid DUI case. Mr. Beck was still ready and willing to goto trial to completely clear me of all charges. Due to my moving and the hassle of returning for trial, I decided to accept a careless driving charge for falling asleep at the wheel. Overall, I was satisfied with the results and the ability to move forward with my life. There's so much more to this story but not necessary for a review. All I'll say is everyone at liberty law was very welcoming. It feels like family and Mr. Beck is certainly a family man. I learned alot about the laws in Colorado and many biases within. It's unfortunate but it's not all of Colorado. I'm thankful for making it out that entire situation and moving forward.If there's any place I'd recommend for legal support, it's Liberty Law. The services were well worth the flat rate they gave. They were very flexible with my payments. They worked with my budget and were very understanding when I needed adjustments made over time. I was able to pay in full and not feel I was taken advantage of. I truly felt like family. The entire team ( Christa, Elizabeth, Valerie, etc) is great and work very well together.
