Sensei Holmes at Lincoln Budokan Dojo does an amazing job with kids of all ages and abilities. He does a weekly class for beginners after school- students in this class show growth in their focus and discipline and have a lot of fun learning along the way! I would recommend LBD to anyone interested in Martial Arts.
Excellent, supportive and learning environment. The sensei and senpai here are first rate. The owner and lead instructor/sensei Brad Holmes, is incredible, approachable, knowledgeable and always willing to help. And the older/more experienced students are very friendly and encouraging towards new/younger students. My son (who has been attending for 10+ years now) always look forward to going to classes. Highly recommended and fun!
My son has gained a lot of valuable skills through his karate practice! This dojo has helped him develop leadership, discipline, and independence over the years. It is a fantastic environment for kids to grow and learn important life lessons.
We’re very happy we chose this Budokan Dojo for our son! He attends classes with great enthusiasm, and we can already see how quickly he’s progressing in both technique and discipline. The Senseis are excellent – experienced and attentive professionals who know how to connect with each child. They help develop not only athletic skills but also confidence. The club instills important qualities like responsibility, respect, and determination, which we also see reflected in his behavior at home. The supportive and friendly atmosphere among the kids is also wonderful. We highly recommend this Budokan Dojo to other parents!
Very good dojo. Works so well with children and teaches respect and responsibility. All the Sensei are very nice and you can tell they care about the students. Offers first week free so students can decide if it's meant for them. Has a wide variety of class from beginners to advanced classes. Very happy with all they have taught my son.
