We took our 13-month-old son to Little Scissors in Fremont for his first haircut, and we had a fantastic experience. Jessie was incredibly patient, kind, and clearly very experienced with little ones. The environment was very dry kid friendly. lots of vibrant colors and cool car chairs. The entire cut took about 10 minutes, and to our surprise, our son didn’t shed a single tear! Jessie made him feel comfortable from the start, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for any parents looking for a gentle and skilled stylist for their child’s first haircut.
Clementine was my daughter’s hair stylist and she was so great! It was my daughter’s first haircut, so I wasn’t sure how she was going to do, but she did really well, and Clementine was very patient with my daughter during the couple of times my daughter would get distracted (from watching the tv or playing with the seat she picked). Clementine was not only patient, but also efficient. We booked my daughter’s haircut on a weekday when they opened, too, so it wasn’t busy. And I appreciate that reservations are required in order to keep it from getting too crowded with walk-ins. My personal suggestions and tips: - I recommend Clementine, she’s great! - Make sure to make a reservation! They do NOT accept walk-ins. - Weekdays seem to be the best time (we walked in on a weekend before, at a different location, and it was packed). - Have a photo ready ahead of time of the type of haircut you’d like your stylist to do.
They are great with kids! We brought our 2 year old for his first haircut and at first he did cry. Clementine was awesome and calm which soon after our son got relaxed during the hair cut. Make sure to have an appointment .
Clementine is so gentle ! My son is 3.5 he felt really comfortable inside first walking in, checking out the books, electronic toys that have sounds, a play house and a slide. this is almost his 20th haircut since he’s been born… he hasn’t let me cut it recently. I decided to take him to the shop . It took my son a little while to stop screaming while I sat with him in the chair. My son was getting emotional even while I was holding him getting his haircut, clementine proceed to buzz his hair and he was scared at first and didn’t trust her, while she was being so gentle, she had the kindest words to my son. She even styled his Mohawk with gel. My son walked out of the shop and showed everyone at the books store or anyone walking in his path, “ do you like my haircut, I lub it” 🧸💙 She also made me feel so comfortable :) I will be back again. I would let the other lady cut his hair too, she was a shorter, Asian gal, very nice as well :) Thanks little scissors, your environment and hair stylist at Fremont is the best ! See you next month 🥰
Very nice salon (ONLY FOR KIDS). My daughter liked the shop. No appointment available here, first come first serve basis. While waiting kids can play with toy house and slide here. Very caring staff and also disinfected the bike before start of hair cut. Also given great suggestions and my daughter got a perfect hair cut. Here they accept card however charge 1$ extra (if card used). I would recommend this salon for kids.
