Justin was absolutely incredible. He took the time to walk us through all of our new appliances, explaining not just how they work but what they can truly do—and it was eye-opening. We’re so excited to start using them, especially after tasting the sous vide steak he prepared, which was out of this world. Not only were his skills and knowledge beyond exceptional, but his personality made the entire experience enjoyable and easy to understand. We couldn’t have asked for better guidance. Highly recommend Justin!
We hired Justin for a family welcome dinner for our daughter's wedding. From start to finish, the experience was amazing! Justin was a consumate professional who paid attention to all the details. The food was amazing and the experience one that will be duplicated if we make it back to Round Rock! Thanks so much, Justin!
Chef Justin and his team made my event run SO smoothly, from start to finish. Starting with menu prep, Justin managed to capture the vibe of my group, create special meals, all while making sure all dietary restrictions were accounted for. Then, Chef Francisco crushed it onsite; his warm demeanor and expertise in the kitchen just wrapped the whole thing up with a big bow. I cannot say enough great things about these guys!
We hired Lone Star Chefs for a private party with about 20 guests. This was my first time hiring a private chef so I was nervous if it was going to go well. Hiring Chef Justin and Chef Sergio was one of the best dining experiences we had! In planning, my communication with Chef Justin was wonderful. He took time to understand my expectations, the atmosphere we were going for, and my budget. He shared sample menus but then he also got creative based on our crowd. I never felt shy to challenge his choices or ask 100 questions on the process. Once we finalized the menu, I kept asking what else I had to do - he kept saying "He's got this." And he did! They showed up with plenty of time, started prepping right away, created a gorgeous spread, had everything they needed with them and made it so easy. Our guests were raving about the food the entire evening. I am so grateful that we tried Lone Star Chefs and hope to get to experience their service and food in the future. Amazing company!
Unbelievable experience. Chef Justin knocked it out of the park. He was punctual, professional, personable, and made some of the best food I've eaten in my entire life. The presentation was perfect for our outing as well. He cooked for 14 of us over 4 days, and somehow outdid himself every single meal. Chef did an exemplary job of having food ready at just the right time where everyone was hungry and needed to re-fuel, and his menu fit our days perfectly. Not only was his menu next level, but he even cooked something special for the group that was impromptu, and did so on the fly - it was my personal favorite dish of the long weekend. Aside from the food, Chef Justin topped off the experience by being a down-to-earth person that was easy to talk to, and was intuitive with appropriate times to interact with the clients. Personally, I spent time chatting with Chef about his background, personal life, starting the business, and a number of other topics. What I believe sets Chef Justin apart with the experience he offers is that his food is unmatched in conjunction with he has a genuine interest and love for connecting with people - whether that be through food-only or through a combination of food and conversation. I am not a photographer and my photos don't do what Chef Justin provided justice. Chef never once requested we leave him a review, but our experience hands-down deserves one. I cannot recommend Lone Star Chefs enough.
