I called Louie's Home Repair to fix the tongue and groove ceiling in our pergola. He stopped by that day to look and provided an estimate. He and Chris were on time, very professional, and fixed the ceiling. While they were here, I had them also repair some bolt holes in our brick siding to stop water from getting in. I recommend giving them a call and I'll hire them again when the need arises.
This is something I never do. I don’t give bad reviews to anyone but this really rubbed me the wrong way. We had contacted this company to initially do our base boards in our converted garage. They did a great job there and then we started talking about doing a shower in our main bath. They came in and demoed the bathroom we told them what we wanted and they said they needed to order a shower pan we told them to do that and 4 weeks later no shower pan . Was told that we did not communicate what we wanted that was not true I sent pictures of what I wanted in the shower. I had expenses plumbing done as we were not sure he was a licensed plumber. And when he met with the plumbers I asked when would the shower pan would be in he stated that he could have it the next day and that he would be back that Monday. He called that Monday and said that he still needed to order the shower pan and it would be available December 2nd. Keep in mind we paid 5000.00 in cash. My husband than called to discuss it with him and asked how much the base boards and the demolition of the bathroom were which the baseboards were 1200.00 and the demolition of the bathroom he didn’t know.as I felt I needed to go another direction wanted to make sure to pay him for the work that he did already and wanted the difference back out of the original 5000.00. As he than said I don’t owe you anything out of original payment. My husband said to him that you need to do what’s right he than started using foul language to my husband and than told him that under Texas law he did not have to refund anything.even though I think in my mind that about 3000.00 is what was actually owed he refused to refund anything money back. I feel that you should beware of this company. Not sure exactly what they are licensed to do. But in the reality of the situation we say be careful in who you choose. Make sure you get every detail of what they are planning to do in writing down to the last detail. While they were here they kept getting phone calls from another job asking when it would be done. My husband is a veteran and I feel that we have just been taken advantage of. Beware
Louie remodeled one of our bathrooms and did an outstanding job! He and Dante replaced our tub/shower combo with a walk in shower, rerouted plumbing, retiled the floors, replaced the toilet and painted the bathroom. When discussing the project initially, Louie was great about giving suggestions and answering any questions we had. The floor tile we picked has a somewhat detailed design and Louie was careful to line it up perfectly. Louie and Dante cleaned their tools and materials up every night before leaving - almost as if they hadn’t been there at all. They communicated frequently and were very respectful of our home. I will definitely be calling for my next project. Would highly recommend!
They were the only company to provide the documentation I needed for my insurance claim, and they made the entire process easy by getting everything to me quickly and thoroughly. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the team was quick, communicative, friendly, and professional from start to finish. They gave me constant updates throughout the project, which I really appreciated. The work itself was excellent as they did an amazing job repairing the drywall and painting the garage. Everything looks good as new.
