I would love to recommend Ms. Piper! She’s an incredible piano teacher, my daughter is always so excited for her lessons. Ms. Piper truly knows how to encourage kids and make them feel comfortable, proud, and inspired to learn music. The entire staff is wonderful too! I’m even thinking about taking lessons myself… it’s never too late to learn!
Love LAAPA so very much!!! My girls have the best instructors!! We love Ms.Alison, Mr. Kilian and Ms. Bridget!! They are super knowledgeable and love their craft! They truly care about my girls and I appreciate them so very much!! I also want to include the office staff!! So awesome! ~mom Ms. Alison is the best because she chooses songs that fit my voice and my personality. She makes me feel confident. She is kind and caring and helps me with everything and anything that I might be struggling with. Even outside of music! She is more than an instructor. Thank you Ms. Alison! ~ Leyann N. Mr. Kilian, you are more than an instructor! You know so much and care so much! You have helped build my confidence in voice and especially in piano. This place is an amazing place for my daughter. She loves to go to dance here and is always talking about how she wants to have more classes. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Karrisa. Also there was this one substitute teacher that she had and loved because of his training and professionalism. His name was Mr. Jordan. He was a wonderful teacher and showed my daughter how to have a better technique.
We could not be happier with our teacher Allison Newton! She has taught our daughter piano and voice for the past 3 years. She has helped our daughter grow not only musically but also grow her confidence. I highly recommend Allison. She is patient, kind and a great teacher!
I take private guitar and voice lessons here at LAAPA and love it! I was a little wary at first since their programs are geared mostly towards children, but I wanted to give them a shot since they’re so close to my house. In the few months I’ve been meeting with Mr. David Nathan I’ve seen my vocal ability improve and strengthen as well as an expansion of my guitar skills and understanding of music theory in general. Mr. Nathan is highly knowledgeable about music theory and a very skilled musician himself and I feel lucky to get time to pick his brain! I’d also like to shoutout the wonderful substitutes I’ve encountered in my makeup sessions — Seth Guerra, Brian King, and Marley Wall — they as well have a wealth of impressive music knowledge and are very helpful. I highly recommend LAAPA & Mr. David if you’re an adult beginner, or intermediate and trying to fill in some gaps in knowledge and skill like myself. Everyone has been super friendly and accommodating. Overall a great creative environment.
