I just had a 2 day marathon session and I can't say enough about my experience with Zach — he’s an absolute artist and professional. He just finished a full Dungeons & Dragons sleeve from hand to shoulder on me in only 2 days, and it’s nothing short of mind-blowing. The attention to detail, shading, and overall composition are beyond anything I could have imagined. Every inch of the piece tells a story and showcases his insane level of skill. The shop itself was spotless, and filled with awesome people. I had the pleasure of meeting several other artists working in the shop throughout my two sessions and each one of them was an absolute gem with an incredible portfolio in their own styles. The whole creative atmosphere was really fun and it made the entire marathon session surprisingly comfortable. Zach’s professionalism, focus, and dedication made it clear I was in the best hands possible. If you’re serious about getting high-level, detailed, and meaningful work, Zach is the artist you need to see. I’ll absolutely be back for my next piece sooner than later — there’s no one else I’d trust with my skin after this.
This shop is so amazing I’ll never go to another! Austin Gallant is an INCREDIBLE artist and a really rad dude, he created such an amazing piece for me that I will cherish (and moisturize) forever. I would also like to thank all the artists at Lowlife for making me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Lots of laughs, good times and amazing artists so look no further if you’re searching for a shop to get your next tattoo!
I recently travelled to Calgary to get tattooed by Zach at Low Life studios. I have been following his work for many years and finally got the chance to book in. The experience was better than I could’ve ever imagined. Zach helped me put together an incredible piece featuring my pup. He blew my expectations out of the water with the design, and the realism he captured in my girl brought me to tears more than once. From the shop banter to keep me mind off the spicy bits, the other artists checking in on me telling me I’m doing great, to Zach going ABOVE & beyond offering to store my luggage when my flight was delayed (I had checked out of my air bnb). He also hustled to get me the merch I wanted before I left. I can’t say enough great things about Zach, his work, and the other badass artists in his shop. Worth the trip out from anywhere in the country, 12/10 experience, I can’t book back in fast enough.
Zach is an incredible artist! His attention to detail and creativity are unmatched, and he really takes the time to make sure your vision comes to life. The whole experience was comfortable and professional, and the end result exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and will definitely be back for more work. Highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for top-quality ink!
I was lucky enough to have won a tattoo giveaway with Zach and he did not disappoint at all. His creativity and realism in the tattoo is amazing. The tattoo was absolutely perfect, everything I could have wanted and more. I gave him very little detail because I wasn't sure exactly what I even wanted and with the little bit I did give him he created an amazing piece. Zach was super professional and great to collab with on the piece. I will definitely be going back to get more work done by Zach. I want to also add the other artists I encountered while in the shop for 2 days were all amazing and super friendly too. If you want a good vibes, a chill environment with great art I definitely recommend Lowlife Tattoos! Thank you Zach for the amazing tattoo and I look forward to adding to it in the future!
