I haven’t gotten the check yet and I’m reviewing already. The staff is wonderful and personable. The seafood is STUPID FRESH. Especially for Arizona. Deliveries 7 days a week. I had the Two Wash Half Chicken and it ruined me for Marsala sauce; no Marsala will ever compare. Cocktails poured perfectly (the Moderna and IL Sonata)… check was just over $350, but at this point, I’d hand over my entire wallet and my watch for this dinner. Now I’m being taken home and have the best food coma in all my life. Bless you, Melanie!
Birthday Dinner Celebration! The experience exceeded my expectation. From the hostesses to our server Kendall, the staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu options. Kendall made several great recommendations which we tried and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the Focaccia, Arancini and Lemon Spaghetti! The Cannoli Cake was magical.
I took my wife here for our first wedding anniversary. Being aware of this, the restaurant really went above and beyond to make our night special. They could not have done any better. From the start the hostess was kind and informative seating is and explaining the restaurant. Our server was personable and very attentive. He knew the menu and it showed. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the food, especially with the pasta because I can be a bit of a snob. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The arancini were fantastic. The pizza, while it did not live up to the pizza I had in Naples, is probably the closest to it in the whole of phoenix. The lemon spaghetti really is fantastic. The pasta was good but it was a touch overcooked. Because I had a view of the kitchen I could see that sometimes the plates were sitting at the pass for several minutes. This is a pasta killer. Get it out. It will be overcooked and thicken as it sits. Even the chicken piccata was great. The prices seem high but actually you get a ton of food, like the corn with sausage. It’s 14 dollars or something but they send out enough for like four people. And pasta portions are like main course portions. That taken into consideration and I think the price is fair. Really this is a four star review but the fact that the restaurant was staff was so amazing I have to give it a five star review I enjoyed it so much I even got a cookbook as a souvenir.
Elegant dinner well worth the hype. The lemon spaghetti was excellent and the focaccia bread starter was tasty and a generous portion - coupled with lemon-mascarpone butter, basil pesto, and olive oil. Service was outstanding throughout. Nice wine selection. And the show-stopper actually was the outstanding tiramisu. Used to average tiramisu, this blew us all away.
Phenomenal! Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Cherise was our server and she is fantastic! She is personable, professional, and has a lovely personality. She definitely enhanced our dining experience by advising us on choices based upon personal preferences and helped keep the mood light. We asked her to surprise us on a few items and she knocked it out of the park! The drinks were also amazing! Our group of 6 decided to order food family style so that we could all taste multiple dishes. This did not disappoint and Cherise even quoted Chef Giada “I like to eat a little of everything, but not a lot of everything”. We got to experience this and loved this philosophy.
