I visited Marcus Antelante BJJ for the first time and had a great experience. Marcus Antelante was very welcoming, and the atmosphere felt friendly from the moment I walked in. The training partners were respectful, skilled, and pushed the pace without any ego. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone serious about improving their jiu-jitsu.
I am current visiting for work from Houston, Texas. I have been training for six weeks at this point. Marcus allowed me to come train with him and his students for the day and I’m so thankful that he did. I really enjoyed the beginners and advanced class. Marcus and his students are welcoming and encouraging. Anyone who is looking to get into BJJ, whether you have experience or not, I encourage you to check out this gym. Professor Marcus & Joseph are very good bjj teachers. I love how they have beginners and advanced classes. They have sequences to everything they teach and they tie together in the end. I love being a part of this school.
I was visiting the area for a conference and wanted to find a place to train. Professor Marcus responded to my inquiries quickly and made it easy to drop-in. The students were very welcoming, and I felt completely safe and comfortable during rolls. The instruction was top-notch, and the camaraderie on the mats was great. I really appreciated the positive, respectful environment. Highly recommend this academy to anyone visiting for a convention or looking for a great place to train!
