I made a lovely flower arrangement for a lovely young woman. The arrangement was as beautiful as the woman at the register. I had no idea where I was going. Once I walked in I immediately was taken back by the space, all the wine and the ambience. Beautiful wine shop.
The wonderful staff, Alex and Elizabeth in particular, can help you find great pairings, perfect hostess gifts and even delicious wines for cooking that special meal. All in the most professional and friendly manner possible. We love having a local wine shop in the neighborhood, and their selections of beers, THC drinks and premium alcohols are small, but extremely well-edited!
The BEST neighborhood wine store. Alexandra is so friendly and very knowledgable. Her write ups on every bottle make finding the perfect wine so easy.
Update: I stopped by this weekend while visiting town, and I’m thrilled to see that everything I loved about this shop still holds true—and then some! Alex has truly transformed it into a top-tier wine store. The attention to detail is incredible, and the space looks absolutely amazing. One of the standout features for me is the thoughtful descriptions displayed on every single offering, making it easy to explore and discover new wines. As someone who isn’t the most experienced wine drinker, I’ve always appreciated the knowledgeable recommendations, and Alex continues to go above and beyond. Her passion and expertise make the shopping experience both enjoyable and educational. This store is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by! Stopped in over the weekend after stumbling upon the grand re-opening. As an inexperienced wine drinker I usually rely on the staff for recommendations and I hit the jackpot with Alexandra, the woman running the shop. Not sure if she’s the owner or just a manager but she appeared to be running the entire shop solo somehow on a busy Saturday. She is super friendly and knows her wines. I tend to buy my wines based of the most interesting label but she took the chance to educate me and hooked me up with a couple bottles to try. Five stars for service and selection. Just hope she gets some help hired soon because she looked busy.
Madame Claude Wine was an amazing resource for my fiancee and I as we choose wines for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Alex, Madame Claude's manager, arranged a tasting and provided informative and interesting notes about each wine we tried. From the comprehensive tasting, she helped us to select wines - red, white and champagne - that would appeal to a diverse group. As a side note, I especially love how each wine in the store has a great descriptions. They are very helpful when selecting varietals with which I am unfamiliar, but interested to try. I"ll be back, Madame Claude, whether I am hosting friends or simply looking for something to open during the week.
