My child absolutely loves the Karate classes here! Every time before class, he gets so excited and even practices the moves at home. The instructors are professional, patient, and very encouraging. They not only teach techniques carefully but also help the kids build confidence, focus, and good manners. Every class is full of positive energy, and my child is learning not only martial arts skills but also perseverance and respect for others. I also joined the adult class myself, and I can truly feel both my body and mind becoming stronger. I have more energy, and my fitness has clearly improved. The atmosphere here is incredibly friendly — both kids and adults motivate each other and grow together. It’s truly a warm, family-friendly dojo that we all enjoy. Highly recommended for families who want to stay active, build confidence, and grow together!
My brother and I attended here as kids 25+ years ago, and now that I have a daughter of my own, I've enrolled her here and she absolutely loves it so far. Sensei Rick is a great guy and they have some amazing people here. I know he hires from within, people that he trusts, knows well and for a long time. I think that's really important when it comes to who educates and spends time with our children.
SEARCH NO LONGER for the BEST Martial Arts Studio/Dojo Around!!! MAI has a WONDERFUL Staff & Sensei Family!! Everyone at MAI GENUINELY CARES about EACH STUDENT! Our daughter has developed mentally, physically & socially since attending MAI. In particular, we equally attribute our 5 year old daughter’s maturity to her Teachers & Senseis! MAI TRULY IS THE BEST!!
My boys have developed a love for martial arts at MAI. One of them is a little dragon (the younger class for kids ~5 years old) and the other is an 8 year old who is currently working his way through his green black belt. It is not inexpensive but we feel we are getting a return on the investment ... all of the senseis are all pretty amazing and take great care of the kids. The events are enjoyable, especially the park day. Both kids are learning the discipline of memorizing katas and how to respect the dojo and their senseis. Hopefully they become better humans as part of being here. It definitely isn't hurting. Happy to recommend this place to all our friends.
¡Estos Senseis son increíbles! Cada uno de ellos. Mi hijo ha estado asistiendo durante 5 meses y le encanta. Siempre espera con entusiasmo ir. Enseñan a los niños a respetar a los demás, a esforzarse por ser mejores, a apoyarse mutuamente y cómo perder y cómo ganar (este último tan importante como el primero). ¡Realmente tienen un gran corazón para los niños! Hay tantos días y horarios diferentes para ajustarse a mi horario, que cambia constantemente, e incluso ofrecen clases de recuperación los sábados. ¡Estamos contentos de ser parte de la familia MAI Anaheim!
