Codie is incredible! She did my makeup for our wedding, and I truly couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and so easy to work with. During the makeup trial, she really took the time to understand what I wanted — and on the wedding day, she made sure everything looked just right. She was so attentive and made small tweaks to ensure I felt 100% confident and comfortable. Her ability to listen and adjust based on what you want is something that really sets her apart. Not only is Codie incredibly talented, but her team of makeup artists who worked with my bridesmaids were fantastic as well! Every single one of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and felt beautiful and confident, which made the entire getting-ready experience so special and fun. Codie and her team have such a calming and positive presence — exactly what you want on your wedding day. If you're looking for skilled, thoughtful artists who genuinely care about making you and your bridal party feel amazing, Codie and her crew are the perfect choice!
My wedding was last weekend and I’m STILL gushing over my hair & makeup! Codie & Amy are *beyond* talented, but to be 100% honest I knew I was booking MakeupATX the moment Codie & I ended our consultation call. I think a lot of brides forget how important it is to feel comfortable with your stylists — you’ll be with spending half of the most special day of your lives with these people! And these girls would *absolutely* hands-down, be welcome & fit right in with any number of my friend groups. They are so fun, warm, approachable, and most importantly, seriously talented! My mom & MOH were so pleased with their H&MU and the collective experience we all had that morning, we could not have asked for better hair, makeup, or conversations on such a special day! 12/10 would recommend again!
I absolutely loved working with Codie and Makeup ATX. Codie did an amazing job with my hair and makeup - it looked better than I could have imagined and stayed in place the entire night (even after a long night of sweating on the dance floor...). She is a wonderful person and I really enjoyed spending the morning with her on my wedding day. I also loved how my bridesmaids' hair and makeup turned out. Everyone was so happy with their look and everyone's hair and makeup stayed in the entire night. I would highly recommend Makeup ATX to any wedding party!
I loved working with Codie at my wedding in May! She was so wonderful and really did a great job listening to my bridesmaids and myself and crafting our hair and makeup according to what we wanted. I also love that we did a trial session before my big day where I got to talk with her about what I wanted and try out some different products and looks. She was great to work with and I honestly loved having her be a part of our wedding weekend!
Codie is absolutely incredible and made me feel beyond beautiful on my wedding day. I did trial hair & makeup with her for my bridal shoot and she nailed it! We made minimal changes for my wedding day. I got a ton of compliments on the timeless vibe I went for that Codie delivered on! I have extremely oily skin and thick, heavy hair and everything still looked great at the end of the night! My Mom has never had her hair or makeup done before but Codie did it for her the morning of my wedding and it brought my Mom to tears. She felt so confident with how she looked. Thank you again :)
