Our visit was wonderful in April..Good vibes, great tasting. Atmosphere was as expected with a wonderful Staff.
I enjoyed the wine. I started with a flight of seasonal flight. We ordered a charcuterie board of meat and cheese. Then had another glass of wine. My favorite was the cranberry wine we had great service.
My husband and I visited Manitou Winery during our trip to Manitou Springs and were thoroughly impressed. The wine flight offered a wonderful variety of flavors, each thoughtfully crafted and distinct. The ambience was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting to relax and enjoy. Eric was exceptionally welcoming and clearly passionate about his craft — his enthusiasm for the winemaking process and the creativity behind each blend truly enhanced our experience. A must-visit for anyone exploring the area.
A Five-Star Experience at Manitou Winery Walking into Manitou Winery feels like stepping into a dream—one where passion, community, and incredible wine come together in the most beautiful way. Eric, the owner and mastermind behind this place, is a man on a mission. You can feel it in every detail of the winery and most of all, in every glass of wine he crafts. This is his calling, his purpose—and he pours all of that love and energy into every bottle. Eric’s passion for winemaking is contagious. When he talks about his process, you can’t help but hang on every word. This isn’t just a business to him—it’s his art. Malik, one of their standout wines, is the perfect example of that artistry. Made with locally sourced water, it has a depth and richness that feels completely unique to Manitou. The water brings a distinct, almost elusive flavor to the wine, and you can’t help but savor each sip. It’s one of those wines that stays with you long after you’ve left. And then there’s Katherine, who works at the winery and brings incredible warmth to the experience. She has this way of making everyone feel welcome, like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first time. Her knowledge of the wines and her enthusiasm for what Eric has created make your visit even more special. She’s the kind of person who elevates the experience, turning it into something genuinely unforgettable. The vibe at Manitou Winery is second to none. It’s cozy but sophisticated, lively but relaxing. You’ll want to settle in and lose track of time as you take in the stunning location, and each visit feels like an escape from the rush of daily life. Eric’s vision shines through in every corner, and Katherine’s presence makes sure everything feels just right. This isn’t just a winery. It’s a place where passion and purpose come together to create magic. If you’re the kind of person who loves a great story and even better wine, this is your place. Eric isn’t simply running a winery—he’s creating something much deeper than that, and Katherine is the perfect guide to help you discover it. I guarantee you’ll leave Manitou Winery with an incredible bottle (or two), but more than that, you’ll leave with memories and emotions that linger long after you’ve gone. Five stars? Absolutely. This is more than a winery—it’s an experience you don’t want to miss.
Incredible experience! We were just going to do a flight and leave, but the wonderful staff and atmosphere made us stay longer... We did the flights that came with a glass of wine (smart!), additional glasses, and bought a case. Most impressed with their whites, especially the Pueblo chili and the margarita lime. Cheese board was wonderful! Will definitely be back.
