The whole office is so compassionate and professional. They go above and beyond to make sure that I understand all options at every visit. My cat is a sensitive little guy who’s prone to getting overwhelmed. They treat him with such gentle kindness and are incredibly knowledgeable. They’ve talked me through dental extractions to asthma management through GI struggles and explaining cardiac conditions. Absolutely top notch clinically and such friendly personalized treatment. They seem genuinely happy greeting every animal that comes through the door
A wonderful experience from start to finish! The staff is welcoming and professional. The special touches (doggie whipped cream treats available in the lobby fridge and little treat cups for cats in the exam rooms) are unexpected and a balm for nervous animals. Most importantly, the veterinary care provided by Dr. Zola and his staff is both excellent and reasonably priced. It’s so nice to know there still are small veterinary practices in our community that haven’t been swallowed up by big, impersonal corporations! I highly recommend Mariemont Veterinary Clinic.
Not too happy with this vet anymore. It used to be such a great place, but I continue to have issues that feel like a lack of care from the staff. The last time my dog was in, they clipped her nails too short, causing them to bleed. My most recent visit was also unnecessary. I brought my cat in for a shot because I received emails saying he needed it, only to be told he had already gotten the shot earlier in the year. I can’t always remember which vaccines he has or hasn’t had, and I ended up wasting a morning bringing him in for no reason. I was told the system sent the reminder because the staff had failed to manually updated his record. When my last cat passed away, they were kind enough to do an ink paw print, which I appreciated, but they spelled my cat’s name wrong on it. It would have been nice for them to double-check the name, especially in such a difficult time for me. Overall, it’s just been disappointing. The staff seems rushed, focused on getting people in and out, and far less attentive or compassionate with the animals than they used to be. Really sad to say this, as my family has been going to this vet for over a decade.
My Labrador Retriever, Bailey, has been receiving acupuncture treatments at this clinic for her arthritis and now renal failure. They are so kind and gentle with her as she is nearing 16 years of age. When your pet needs this type of treatment, time is of the essence. Many acupuncturists were months out to even get her started if they would see her at all. MVC was able to get her scheduled in less than a week which was awesome. The doctor listens to my concerns, adjusts her treatment according to problem areas and treats her with such compassion. She has been responding well to the weekly treatments. Everyone that works here has been so kind, helpful and understanding even though we are only receiving acupuncture care. A first class establishment that I highly recommend to others.
Dr. Zola and team have been incredible with my baby chick Hazel. It probably comes as no surprise that it is very difficult to find a vet that will see a sick baby chicken, so when Mariemont Vet Clinic said those beautiful words “yes, we see chickens!” I was over the moon! They got me in asap and were so friendly. Unfortunately little Hazel had to have one of her eyes removed, but Dr. Zola did an incredible job. Hazel is healing perfectly, with no issues AT ALL! Wow, I really can’t thank them enough. I love my chickens and am so happy I now have a place to take them to when needed. Without Dr. Zola and team, who knows what would’ve happened to little Hazel.
