Master Shin's taekwondo class has been a fantastic experience for our son. It's much more than just martial arts; it's a great lesson in discipline and respect. We are really impressed with how they teach Korean words during the classes, making it a unique learning experience. The instructor assistants provide helpful, individual coaching that has really boosted our son's confidence and skills. We couldn't be happier with our son's progress and are so glad to have found a coach like Master Shin.
We have 2 kids attending Master Shin’s. Our son has improved in his focusing and enjoys the weeks when they practice sprints. Our daughter likes the instructors and how caring each of them are. My wife and I agree that each of them are taking the lessons learned in Taekwondo and using them in their daily routines. We like the curriculum and how it helps them develop their skills smartly over time. Highly recommend visiting and having your kid do the trial sessions. You won’t be disappointed.
We have been attending Master Shin’s Taekwondo for several years, and it has been an excellent experience from the very beginning. Master Shin and Mrs. Shin are outstanding with the students—always patient, encouraging, and highly professional. The classes are well-structured and supported by a strong team of engaging coaches who keep the lessons fun, focused, and motivating. My son has been with this school coming onto two months now. He started when he barely turned 4 in June so he is definitely one of the youngest ones in the tigers class. I’ve seen him improve week after week. At first I was a bit worried because it looked like he just was struggling to comprehend and I thought it just wasn’t “clicking” for him. However to my surprise he came in week after week and showed a bit more improvement each time. Whether it be sitting still a little more, looking at the instructors a little more, or landing a better kick than the last class. He always comes out after class and says “I’m going to do better again next time”. I loved that. His focus is getting a bit better too! He’s freshly 4 years old and already gained this mindset from the school, i definitely made the right choice to choose this school. Master shin and Mrs. Shin are wonderful too they are so nice. My son gets excited when Mrs. Shin arrived :). His favorite assistant teacher is pictured with him in this post. He’s super nice to my son and always encourages him. Love that!
