I cannot say enough good things about Mathnasium of Elk Grove and especially Kevin. From day one, the atmosphere at the center has been welcoming, supportive, and focused on real learning (not just rote drills). The staff is patient, encouraging, and truly cares about each student’s progress. Kevin, in particular, stands out as an exceptional instructor. He has a rare ability to explain difficult concepts in a way that makes sense, taking the time to ensure understanding rather than just rushing through problems. He is attentive to each student’s needs, offers helpful strategies, and builds confidence along with competence. With Kevin’s guidance, I’ve seen clear improvements not just in test scores, but also in my child’s attitude toward math. She is now more confident, engaged, and willing to tackle challenges. Overall, Mathnasium of Elk Grove offers a top tier math tutoring experience. The individualized approach, combined with an environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes, makes all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend this center and especially Kevin to any parent looking for high quality math support.
Mathnasium has given my child a positive attitude towards math. The supportive environment makes learning fun for my child and them actually looking forward to going to the sessions. Its wonderful to see them enjoy math so much. I recommend this place a lot!!
Mathnasium has been a great experience for my child. The instructors are patient and are great explainers. They clearly explain concepts to my child where she does not understand. This has really boosted my child’s confidence and performance in math. I’ve have seen big improvement and I really recommend this place
So happy that Mathnasium finally opened a location here in Elk Grove! My kids used to go to the Pocket location, and we’re really glad to have one closer to home now. My son absolutely loves going, especially for Chess Club every other Friday. He looks forward to it each time! He has a great time playing with other kids (and even the teachers), and it’s always such a fun, welcoming environment. Mathnasium really feels like a family. The staff is awesome, the kids feel safe, and they’re always challenged in the best way. It’s such a great place for kids to build confidence, learn, and have fun doing it. Highly recommend checking out the new Elk Grove location if you’re thinking about it!
