Amazing place if you like having money stolen from you and charged for chargers you didn’t agree to and was lied face to face regarding everything. It’s also an amazing place if you want to be yelled at by the owner over the phone and called a liar. Even though your credit card statements show they stole from you. The most un professional and disgusting behavior I have ever encountered in my life . Oh and you can’t pay out your contract in 3 months they charge you extra month and lie about refunding you . Hope the owner feels so great about himself yelling and losing his temper with someone who was fighting cancer. Amazing people definitely would go to them again .
Dropped in while in town. Large gym with lots of mat space. Gym was clean and coaches were welcoming. Joined in for a Muay Thai class and a Jiu Jitsu. Coaches were knowledgeable and I was able to learn alot in those two classes. Highly recommend to anyone regardless of skill level.
After I got into wrestling, I wanted to learn more martial arts, and Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu has been the perfect place for that. Every time I walk in, it feels welcoming. The coaches really know what they’re doing, and the people there make training fun and motivating. It’s a place where I can keep improving and pushing myself.
I'm in Memphis temporarily and needed a local gym to train Muay Thai. I dropped in to Memphis Judo & Jiu Jitsu and have nothing but good things to say. The owner, Brooke, was super friendly and welcoming. The facility is huge with plenty of mat space. The coaches have a ton of experience, they're active competitors, and the instruction is top notch. It's been an honor and pleasure to train and learn from this crew. If I was a Memphis local, this would definitely be my home gym. Highly recommended. Memphis Judo & Jiu-Jitsu has been an amazing experience for our family! Both of my daughters—ages 12 and 8—absolutely love their time here. The instructors are incredibly patient, positive, and skilled at working with kids of different ages and experience levels. They create a fun and structured environment where my girls are not only learning self-defense and discipline but also building confidence, focus, and respect. It’s clear that the coaches genuinely care about each child’s growth—both on and off the mat. I’ve seen such a boost in my daughters’ self-esteem and motivation since starting here. If you're looking for a place that combines top-notch martial arts training with a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for kids, this is it. Highly recommend!
