Brian is a fantastic instructor, and musician. Currently working through some basics with him that I feel I skipped over and he is making that process as enjoyable as the basics can be! 😂 He’s very clear giving instructions, knows the instrument inside and out, and the best way to approach obstacles. Definitely worth giving him a shot!
I have been taking banjo lessons with Brian since 2023. I had taken a break but returned. I am very glad I did. I find Brian fun to learn from and always leave my lessons eager to learn more. Definitely worth checking out. Worth every penny!
My Ukelele lessons with Brian were such a joy! He is a very skilled musician and teacher as well as being a joyous, thoughtful, patient and warm human. When I see the children who study with Brian on his online recitals it is especially clear that he has developed a caring and supportive teaching relationship with each of them but I am sure that is true for all of his students. It is a pleasure to recommend him!
Brian Bauer at Mimic Music has been a wonderful music teacher for our 11-year-old son! Our son has ADHD and really struggles sustaining his attention and with impulse control, and we worried that this would be a major barrier for him in taking piano lessons. But Brian is incredibly patient and makes each lesson fun and engaging and our son looks forward to his lessons each week. Additionally, his skills in playing the piano are improving at a much faster rate than expected, and we attribute this to the connection he's made with Brian. We can't recommend Brian Bauer and Mimic Music highly enough!
Brian is a very patient, supportive and fun teacher! My daughter began ukulele lessons a little over 6 months ago and even though she tends to be shy, Brian has been able to connect with her. He consistently encourages and challenges her. She loves her ukulele lessons!
