Lucy did my hair and makeup for my small NYC wedding. We did a trial a few days before and she told me to wear it around to see if anything needed to be tweaked. We made a couple changes day of and I couldn't have been happier. She even loaned me her steamer so I didn't have to go out and buy one!
Lucy did both mine and my partner's hair and my makeup for our elopement. Not only did she do a beautiful job for both of us but we really enjoyed chatting with her while we got ready. Lucy is such a warm and personable person! From the beginning Lucy was friendly via email and answered all of my questions and responded in a timely fashion. Lucy was made sure she asked us a lot of questions about our preferences and helped us with options when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. She also helped me put my veil on. She arrived at our hotel room in a timely fashion. I also loved that there were elopement packages that were less expensive than a full wedding day package and that there was a men's package since my partner has extra long hair. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend the services of Miss Harlequin!
Miss Harlequin's team is a dream to work with! Lucy is so responsive and thorough (truly a bride's dream!), and the artists are beyond incredible. Jasmine and Desi did hair and make-up for myself, my mother, my sister/MOH, and my mother-in-law, and they were both *phenomenal*! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and it's all thanks to Jasmine's incredible talent. Thanks so much to the Miss Harlequin team for making my wedding party look and feel like a million bucks!
Alicia did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for our March wedding. She was calm, fun, and really listened to my feedback from the trial to ensure everything was perfect. Alicia and Gabi also did my mom's, mother-in-law's, and bridesmaids' hair and makeup, and everyone looked stunning. Alicia's attention to detail was impressive, and Lucy, the owner, was very responsive and easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend their services and would love to work with this team again for future events!
Lucy was an absolute delight to work with. I first met her a little over a year before my wedding, on the day of my sister's wedding! Before I even saw the beautiful work she does, I noticed the way she offered an upbeat but calming and assured presence in the getting ready room. I booked her immediately after my sister's big day! I did two hair and makeup trials with Lucy prior to my wedding day, which I highly recommend. Lucy did exactly what my inspiration pictures showed at my first trial, I just ended up not liking it on me as much as I thought I would, but struggled to explain it. She was immediately able to understand why - frankly she read my mind. She was able to verbalize things I couldn't verbalize, and through that process created my DREAM look at our second trial. Throughout the whole process she was patient, understanding, intuitive, and just plain FUN to spend a couple of hours with! On the day of the wedding, her team arrived promptly and ready to go; all my bridesmaids were very happy with the work Lucy's team members provided. She even stayed for touch ups after our ceremony, and was very understanding when our ceremony ran longer than I anticipated. I could not recommend Lucy more if I tried!
